Hi Nico,

I looked into this when I had my RPS clutch fitted and generally the view was 500miles.

I put 200miles of careful driving on it and then treated it as normal.

I think the important thing is to make sure you don't slip it. The clutch disc surface needs to bed onto the flywheel.

My view is that after 200miles, once the clutch disc is engaged, you should be able to boot it as the clamping force should keep the surfaces from slipping.

Nico i have one word for you ( HA!!!!) biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

Nico, The yellow Installation Instructions say for a Street Disc a break in period of 200-300 miles of normal (US) city/mild driving for its organic discs. Most of the information appears also at their site: http://www.advancedclutch.com/V3/mainframe.htm

[Look in the Technical, FAQ section].

I did close to 500 to be safe. It was agony, but hopefully worth it!!!

I did 800 miles on mine before I started to boot it. Best to err on the side of caution.
