Genuine Excerpts from The Books of Remembrance: “I think that the Queen Mum and Princess Diana are our very own Twin Trade Towers. At last we can look the people of New York in the face”. Now the Queen Mum has gone I cannot image that I will ever smile for the rest of my life, but I will probably break that one too”. OK - just talked to Middlehurst Nissan garage in St.Helens and asked them about this £25 charge. The chap there said its only charged when the part number cannot be found on disc and he said for the 300zx it has been around so long and that the part numnbers are 99% the same as each other that its unlikely that a charge will need to be made as they will have them all on disc. He reckons it more of a problem for Skyline GTR owners. You can contact Middlehurst on 01744 26681, they are very helpful. Oh yes, and the £25 charge is what Nissan GB charge them for the search

Hi Guys, Had an idea,God knows where it came from, was having a look at the engine and noticed a the plastic cowling and rubber seal just below the windscreen wipers. I noticed that this virtually sealed the engine compartment tighter than a pressure cooker. I thought that if the rubber seal was removed then this would release some of the heat from the engine bay, when the car moves this area creates an area of low pressure (venturi effect)and would suck even more air out of the engine bay. The downside to this is that it looks like it would let water drip down the bulkhead, and maybe damage electrical components or other items that my limited mechanical knowledge …

Where exactly do you drill the hole to get rid of the water buildup that causes the gurgling.

Fitting my nice new and shiny, well dull silver, HKS EVC 4. What I need to know is what to set the low, high and scramble settings to. As I understand it, setting it too high will damage my engine or turbos? but how do I know what to set them to? Come on you advanced motoring engineers. Help required to get this right! ------------------ Z first and anything else is secondary! John Newcomb (NukeEm) www.geocities.com/jn300zxtt

Hi Peeps, Need assistance on this one, where, who and what make is best for the job. Car has around 350 to 400 BHP, but dont know torque. Any help much appreciated. Leigh.

Right. I'm in desperate need of a new clutch. I've tried Johnny a few weeks back but, despite several reminders, he's not got back to me. Any concise ideas as to where I can get one from in a hurry. Need one that can take 450bhp and possibly a new flywheel at the same time. Any advise gladly received as, if I just stick it in fifth and leave it there, my car's rapidly turning into an automatic! And we all know where that debate leads! Cheers Mike

Had a most undesirable incident a few days ago which seems to make no sense. Here's exacctly what happened, anyone got the slightest idea what the f**k it could have been?? 1. Had new n/s rear tyre fitted at Micheldever at 9am following a night shift at work. 2. Drove back home to Portsmouth (35 miles) on motorway - nice day, fairly warm, air con on, average 90mph. 3. Pull up at my flat. Switch off engine. Very odd 'gurgling' noise coming from car, quite loud, from somewhere on nearside. 4. Restart engine then switch off again, gurgling still there. 5. Notice temp guage. Guage has NEVER even got to half way, is now reading about 2/3. 6. Get out of car, se…

This was about 5:55, 6ish last night. Doubtful, but - anyone here? I was in the Pug looking wistfully at your Zed wishing I had mine with me.
