Does anyone know where I can get hold of replacement clips for the two pins which go through the front calipers ? I have tried Nelson but they won't supply them separately. Herman

Hi Peeps, Need assistance on this one, where, who and what make is best for the job. Car has around 350 to 400 BHP, but dont know torque. Any help much appreciated. Leigh.

Right. I'm in desperate need of a new clutch. I've tried Johnny a few weeks back but, despite several reminders, he's not got back to me. Any concise ideas as to where I can get one from in a hurry. Need one that can take 450bhp and possibly a new flywheel at the same time. Any advise gladly received as, if I just stick it in fifth and leave it there, my car's rapidly turning into an automatic! Had a most undesirable incident a few days ago which seems to make no sense. Here's exacctly what happened, anyone got the slightest idea what the f**k it could have been?? 1. Had new n/s rear tyre fitted at Micheldever at 9am following a night shift at work. 2. Drove back home to Portsmouth (35 miles) on motorway - nice day, fairly warm, air con on, average 90mph. 3. Pull up at my flat. Switch off engine. Very odd 'gurgling' noise coming from car, quite loud, from somewhere on nearside. 4. Restart engine then switch off again, gurgling still there. 5. Notice temp guage. Guage has NEVER even got to half way, is now reading about 2/3. 6. Get out of car, se…

Guys can you help Just bought myself a ford escort '91 1.6 carburetor model. Problem is that it isn't ideling at all, but other than that is running fine. Can you suggest any sites that I can look at or can any one offer advice. Thanks in anticipation Mark

For anyone out there breaking a 300zx TT - and I know there are a few of ya Im looking for a pair of front, 4 pot calipers for my trusted 200, older steel style preferably - must be in good condition though - last thing I want is sticky calipers, and must be the type that holds the 30mm thick disks. I can hear a knocking coming from my engine at tick over. It sounds like its just coming from one side. There is enough oil in there and I have just changed the oil and its still there. Any ideas? Stuart

just seen a uk man zx 90. the clutch felt like it was on the way out as the clutch bite was very low and there was a lot of "loose" pedal at the top of the clutch movement. anyone tell me how much a new clutch is? Also the gear change was VERY stiff, although the action was smooth. Does anyone knwo what this means? or how much a gearbox overhaul would cost? apart from that i thought the car was in good nick and the price was low. thanks for any comments steve

ive heard this high pitch squeak since ive had the car nothing to do with the targa as its there with the roof off, seems to be top of the engine anyone heard anything on those lines and what cures it ------------------ minder

Hi all, I'm tending to think I've made an obvious error, but after reading alot of posts about dodgy opil pressure readings I purchased a new oil sender unit. Got instructions from the technical section (twinturbo.net), and went to install it while doing an oil change at the weekend. Problem -- I couldn't see the bl.... thing anywhere ! The best I could see was a 3/4 pipe next to where oil filter joined into, which had a bolt screwed into the end, (just above the steering column links). Could this be where it would go, and someones done a conversion ? (needless to say I couldn;t see the wires for connection either. Anyon ehelp with this mystery, or t…

I'm a little confused. To do both sides of the secondary air intake system do I need 2 or 4 of the reed valves?
