Picked up my Z today from GlennS, Lovely ride I am much impressed by this car, it was a lovely journey home except for the sun being behind a clound and some silly old sod in an Escort with a flat cap on trying to ram in the back of me TWICE on the turnoff to M25 from M23, Speed is mind boggling as you all know, I havn't pushed it much above the ton mark yet but it gets there quick :O) 148miles on half a tank of petrol, wish me luck guys whilst I tame the dragon Mike

I have a challenge for you, scince i got my z it has made a droning noise from the rear wheels (directly related to road speed) it wasnt too loud at first but its really bloody loud now and doing my head in. I will gladly drive it anywhere for someone who knows their shit to have a look at it and if anyone can fix it ill shower them with money and gifts.

Is this right? Look at the two bolts on the bell housing, one had a bolt and a nut and the top one had just a bolt! I did notice that there was a groove on the bell housing, presumably made by a nut! Jesus it's scarey! ------------------

I bought my car from a dealer who imports the cars from japan, he had two a red and a blue, i bought the blue but my log book says red, chasis no is correct, but colour is not. I sent a 3 page letter to dvla explaining what had happened and that as far as im aware the dealer has managed to get the blue one registered as red and vice versa. I told them that i wanted my log book to say blue but NOT to log it as a colour change (the simpler option) as i didnt want to fuck up my resale value. They have now written to me to tell me that all the paperwork appears to be in order and that i have to take my car to the registration office on thursday morning at 8.40am to be inspect…

Ok guys, I have had an oil leak for a while now, tracked it down to the oil pressure sensor and just thought I'd post up some pics of my new one. Reason being that a few Z chums I've tried to describe this to have had problems picturing what I've been on about. Here you go... New sensor, still leaking! FFS! Loverly blue Z spoted on the Ashbourne road in Derby today tinted windows looked great,anyone here?Moments later in Brailsford some mother fucker pulled out in front of me on my bike and i went into the side of this car, as i was flying through the air i was thinking BOLLOX!!I got up unscaved but the bike was totalled silly old bastard.Only dammage to his mother fucking Volvo was a broken front wheel.Lucky it was my ZZR and not my MV Agusta F4(£22000)pew! ive got a import zed no ice just a big hole i know i need the various bits of scaffold , but what should i fit, getting on a bit i cant see myself with a boot full of crap,boom boom etc, yet i like agood base line, any suggestions for this old fart ------------------ minder

It might help to know that Mitsubishi have just announced a recall for Shogun's ('92 to '99). Letters (via DVLA) are going to all UK model owners first and then to all import owners. A replacement steering part and an hour's labour is required - all free of charge, even for import owners. If Mitsubishi can treat import owners the same as UK owners then why can't Nissan ? Dave

Hi Guys, Just wondered if anybody knew anything about alarms, the questions I have are: Whats the best alarm for a convertible? Can I get one with a built in turbo timer? Can I get one that will retract mirrors on arming and have a separate boot opener switch? I want one where it will ring my mobile phone on activation and will activate if the car hood is bumped? Hi all - sorry to trouble. Days ago, I found the tech on how to take the orange dome out of the front J-spec indicators (to put Silvervision). Muppetly forgot to bookmark (red wine attack). Tried here, AndyP's, australians and yanks. Eyes gone tired, brain turned to mush. Any pointers? TIA ------------------

What would you choose? 1986-1989 MR2 Mk1 1989-1991 MX-5/Eunos I can get a MR2 Mk1 for about a grand and this guy can convert them to LPG for £650- http://www.mr2mk1club.com/LPG.html . But the Eunos(import) is quite cheap and some are autos(suits where I live). Cheers Trev

It's driving me nuts!!!!!! the sound the car makes when u leave your lights on , that bong....bong.....sound Is on constantly when driving , even when the lights r off. Is it a signal for something or should i invest in a deerstalker hat with sound deadening ear flaps!!!!! please help
