Rear end vibration over 35MPH ?

Just finallt managed to acquire a Z on

import - 94 model, NA. very nice, though

not got to do any serious driiving in it yet.

It has something of a transmission problem

though - a rear end vibration which occurs

over 35mpg. I have no idea whats causing it

and wondered if anyone here might have a

clue. Its not the gerabox, nor the back diff

according to the garage - next thing to look

at is prop-shaft balancing (I had a problem

wth this on my old Datsun and it feels

similar).

Any advice appreciated,

cheers,

-bat.

Join the club mine sounds exactly the same, loads of posts on here about it possible causes seem to be propshaft, gearbox mounts, center bearing, wheel bearings but im phucked if i know which, if and when i find a solution i'll let you know, be greatful if you'd do the same good luck!

Thanks for the replies, nice to know I am

not the onley one. I'm taking it down to

Xoticar in Croydon for them to ttake a look

at again next week, hopefully they'll find

out whats up. I'll port here if/when it gets

fixed.

BTW - they were the closest people to central

London I could find that dealt with Z's. I

dont know if anyone has any other recommmendations

as they are a bit of a trek froom here (Angel)
