Following on to my last post, what mpg would you expect to get out of a standard Z32 while commuting? No traffic jams and a few roundabouts used as launch pads.... Just trying to figure if I have a sensor/regulator problem, a heavy right foot or a normal thirsty Z ;-) I'm struggling to get 250 miles on a tank full to empty, long motorway runs however can yield 350 miles on a tank... Hopefully the Blitz kit might improve things. Cheers, RobH PS Halford's air filter replacements are abysmal - really poor fit, I had to trim the seals with a pair of scissors so I could kind of close the airbox again :-((

Hi All, Just taken delivery of a Blitz SUS induction kit. Cheers Johnny@ grasshopper for the service... Unfortunately all the instructions are in Japanese :-( I'm sure I'll be able to cope but has anybody documented the replacement procedure (in English!!) 'cos I don't want to get it wrong.... If not, should I document it for the good of the group...? Cheers, RobH PS De-cat is next ;-)

All, I am having to wave goodbye to my beloved Zed. Kids and long legs + Zed dont work! Its going to a good home (Michael Shanks from the forum). I hope he enjoys it as much as I have over the last 18 months, Ive had a blast. Every time Ive drove its brought a smile to my face and will be sorely missed. Id like to say thanks to the forum for providing great advice when its needed, and much entertainment. Who knows, when funds allow I might get another, or sell the kids to white slavery ... Until then im going down in the world, Cavelier 2.5 V6, no slouch (0-60 7.4) but certainly no Zed! Best of luck guys. Glenn (92 UK T…

Sorry for treating the 300zx forum like my local PC World helpdesk but I am going mad with this PC at the mo!! Freeserve Home time is recently booting me out after only being connected for 5 mins or so. Even though this is REALLY!! annoying I can JUST about bear it. What really gets me mad is that if i'm in an MSN chat MSN will decide to FREEZE up as soon as I lose the connection. Once reconnected on the net it will remain freezed up until a couple of minutes then it will wake up again. I never had this problems before seems to have started now in the last couple of months. Also, sometimes I'll be looking at a web page and then the mouse cursor freezes and …

Has anybody had experience of MK ENGINES Ltd of Bletchley, Nr Milton Keynes? They quote a price of £950 for an exchange auto box - fitted! Seeing as I was being quoted £1,400 + VAT to have mine overhauled it seems a hell of a good price - if the job is a good 'un. Anybody any experience - please let me know. Cheers guys.

dear mr thomas re: nissan 300zx reg no h1a apt as you know we recentle removed both turbo assemblies, at your request, and fitted replacement units supplied by yourself. at the same time you took away both exhausts to have the catalysts removed which again at your request we reinstalled. as we jointly are aware, now the car is running a rasping noise can be heard when accelarating which appears to come from the n/s bank of cylinders. this is the side that had the siezed turbo. having discussed the concern with an expert in this field, mr andy middlehurst, it is believed the rasping noise correctly called detonation-may be caused by a variety of factors such as in…

Grrrrrrrr - until I got hit with this today, didn't realise exactly how annoying it has been to everyone. So it's stirring time: 1) Rang Japanese Performance - they're going to ring Nissan for a comment 2) Some peeps on other threads recommend going to 5th Gear's website - good one. Call/post every mag/website you want to. If you know them or have a connection, so much the better. 3) Point out to your mandela how much business he has just lost. In writing, Suggest he complains to Nissan Motor GB about their crazy policy which is losing him business. 4) Useful addresses: Brian Carolin, MD, Nissan Motor (GB) Ltd The Rivers Office Park, Denham Way, Ma…
