Sorry for treating the 300zx forum like my local PC World helpdesk but I am going mad with this PC at the mo!! Freeserve Home time is recently booting me out after only being connected for 5 mins or so. Even though this is REALLY!! annoying I can JUST about bear it. What really gets me mad is that if i'm in an MSN chat MSN will decide to FREEZE up as soon as I lose the connection. Once reconnected on the net it will remain freezed up until a couple of minutes then it will wake up again. I never had this problems before seems to have started now in the last couple of months. Also, sometimes I'll be looking at a web page and then the mouse cursor freezes and …

Has anybody had experience of MK ENGINES Ltd of Bletchley, Nr Milton Keynes? They quote a price of £950 for an exchange auto box - fitted! Seeing as I was being quoted £1,400 + VAT to have mine overhauled it seems a hell of a good price - if the job is a good 'un. Anybody any experience - please let me know. Cheers guys.

dear mr thomas re: nissan 300zx reg no h1a apt as you know we recentle removed both turbo assemblies, at your request, and fitted replacement units supplied by yourself. at the same time you took away both exhausts to have the catalysts removed which again at your request we reinstalled. as we jointly are aware, now the car is running a rasping noise can be heard when accelarating which appears to come from the n/s bank of cylinders. this is the side that had the siezed turbo. having discussed the concern with an expert in this field, mr andy middlehurst, it is believed the rasping noise correctly called detonation-may be caused by a variety of factors such as in…

Grrrrrrrr - until I got hit with this today, didn't realise exactly how annoying it has been to everyone. So it's stirring time: 1) Rang Japanese Performance - they're going to ring Nissan for a comment 2) Some peeps on other threads recommend going to 5th Gear's website - good one. Call/post every mag/website you want to. If you know them or have a connection, so much the better. 3) Point out to your mandela how much business he has just lost. In writing, Suggest he complains to Nissan Motor GB about their crazy policy which is losing him business. 4) Useful addresses: Brian Carolin, MD, Nissan Motor (GB) Ltd The Rivers Office Park, Denham Way, Ma…

I need new front pads. I was thinking of EBC greenstuff as they worked really well on my old 200sx. What do you guys think of green vs. red?? Which is best for everyday use? What about Ferodo? But I don't want disc-eaters!! No arguments please just some sound advice required. Many thanks in advance Robert. ------------------

Jeff, It seems you put you hands on my Z and that slight difference has gone .I did'nt think that it might have been the fuel fillter, but it looks like it was. See you soon when the parts arrive. CheerZ Ken

We're all in for a world of hurt now, check this out! Soon there will be a new division added to the Police forces countrywide. This new type of unit will be primarily aimed at stopping modified Japanese sports cars. If they find anything dodgey on your car then you will be served with one of these... Watch out, the Rice Police are soon to be about! ROFL Wonder who will be the first to get one??? ------------------ [This message has been edited by Timmy_Turbo (edited 11-04-2002).]

ASS HAIR I have recently made a mistake in my life, and I offer my story to all though tasteless, that you may learn from my error. It all started, as many things do, with me having trouble pooping. No, I was not constipated; this was not a regularity problem but a matter of technique. It seems my ass-hair had grown to such a length that tiny grogans were constantly getting tied up in the matted jungle between my asscheeks. It led to much frustration, with me KNOWING that I still had something to drop, but unable to shake the tenacious turd loose from its butthair dwelling. Eventually I would have to do two things: either reach down with somepaper and try…

I have had trouble with this TC since day 1. It has never worked correctly, well for no more than a few mins. My passenger front ABS signal is not being picked up. I have changed it to a newer one, with no difference. The ABS diag says nothing wrong, and to test if that was working, I disconnected the sensor and went for a drive. With in a few yards the ABS light came on and signalled no passenger front signal. So this means the diag is working and that a signal is reaching it from the front passenger ABS. This means that the TC is not getting the signal from the ABS unit. Which means either, A: Bad wiring. B: Bad TC unit. I am no genius with wireing but a…

Hi, I have had the steering stiffen up on me intermittently and the other day I was thrashing it, came to a corner and it became really stiff, it nearly caused me to change my undercrackers! I have heard there are speed sensors on the gearbox that can go, I have checked the PS fluid and that is full. Any Ideas would be gratefully received! Mark
