Heres a question, I remember reading a post somewhere (lost it now) that if you replace a JAP speedo with a UK one it works fine and reads in MPH no problems, is this the case or am I finally loosing it.

I think it will work too, also I think it makes your trip and mileometer work in miles too. The trip and mileometer takes its feed from the Speedo.

Here's another question that baffles me then (being UK TT owner). When you have jap import speedo converted, does the trip and odometer read in miles after? If so is the reading ajusted to convert it to miles? KM x 0.62 = Miles ??

 

Just wondering that's all, as import milages could be artificially high if not done properly.

If it's done correctly then the trip and odo read miles (and you have to wind them back to an appropriate figure).
