hey everyone, i've just got back from my first santa pod experience. would have been quality if it wernt so damn cold. or if i had a car to race with.
there were probably more zx's there than any other group of cars , about 5 0r 6 i think, a load of 200sx's and a couple of skyline's
evo's were the quickest cars, although a R33 skyline ran 12.5
the zx's seemed a bit slow, kept running in the 15's region - i think basically all the 4*4 cars were the best.
GT4's were all good, every time running high 13's, there was one pulsar gtir and that was pretty good 13.31!!
i think the best ZX was a black one, with number plate ??? SGT i think, that was real quick, i think it ran a 13.3 with a 2.05 reaction time!!
there were a few Yabuza's though, crazy crazy bikers!! they ran a couple of 9.8 143mph times.
some crazy bastard pulled a wheelie near the finish line at 135mph!
there was also a toyota corollla that ran a 13.09 - i think it might have been a fensport prepared model
but yeah, i think basically the 4 wheel drives cars have got a serious edge on the traction side. the celica were consistently faster than the zeds.
i couldnt stay long though, it was a bit nippier than i expected, i think i should have brought a sweater instead of my shades.
sorry i had no batteries for the camera. god damn santa pod, in the middle of nowhere.
ben.
