Hi,

 

Has anybody had experience with fitting M3 style mirrors to a Z?

I have seen some aftermarket ones with built in indicators ala mercedes style, that are alledgedly universal, just how universal they are remains to be seen.

Also has anybody fitted the Veilside M3 style mirrors and are they agro to fit?

Loads of companys make different mirrors for the zed anyway so you would not need to get universal ones.

 

Try Abflug or someone like that.

have a word with smithy on this i seem to remember the jammy sod having enough spare coin to purchase the veilside mirrors

Ive fitted some Carbon Fibre M3 ones to mine, easy to do, having some carbon backing plates made up, BUT u can just use universal plates as I have at the moment.

I think Lymon posted a site a while back where someone actually made some smart looking indicator flashing bits using the existing 300ZX mirror. It looked like the Merc mirrors.

 

Maybe someone else knows of the link.
