I saw a lovely red Zed in derby (near KFC drive thru, just before SMACKdonalds) yesterday. I think the reg went something like N724 xxx. I'm not 100% it being an N, but the 724 sounds right. Anyone here? Peter

Hi, Just an Idea, dangerous thing for me to do according to the bird, there are loads of members all over the country. So why don't we have a bino (for those that don't know a bino is when a load of blokes hire a coach/minibus and go on a day out booze flowing of course, everyone brings their own booze)the route could be from London to Liverpool or Blackpool. The bus could stop off on the way, to see points of interest Z centre, Grasshopper, JeffTT's people who can't make it can bring their Z's to pints, I mean points, Doh, along the way for us to slag off! People from other parts of the country can organise their own bus, IE Scotland/NorthEast and Da Wales and meet…

Hi, I noticed some water under the car in my garage. On looking from underneath it seems to be dripping from the front of the gearbox. Working up from there it seemed to be coming from somewhere above the exhaust join arrangement, on the near side. I tried removing the battery and looking from above, but couldn't get an angle to see anything. There didn't seem to be that much water lost from radiator, and didn’t' seem to leak while engine running. Anyone any ides, what might be leaking up/back there - is it where heater parts are? (not sure I want to ask about ease of solving the problem !!) Thanks for any help Ash

Hi guys, Sorry to sound a bit dim, but what exactly is a breather kit, is it similar to a K&N style induction kit or is there more to it than that? And finally if there are any power increases to be had is is suitable for a Jap 1991 NA? Many thanks, Amer.

Fitted some Red Stuff front pads in the middle of Feb and they are down to about 3mm left! They have been superb but at about £90 squids for 2 months wear I am devastated. Thats like putting a normal set on each month! It's not even my main car - just wish i'd noted the milage when i'd fitted 'em. They make so much brake dust too. Anyone else used them and found this?

I've got a silver machine.... OK, it's only the repeaters / indicators at the front but I thought you'd like to see the result the tools used and have a link to the sort-of-updated website which has this and other stuff on it. http://www.netcomuk.co.uk/~webster/silvermach1.html If it had worked correctly, I would have done this on Friday night. But it didn't. Bugger. It is now Sunday night and my eyes / stamina have gone - so fingers crossed it works! ------------------ [edits a) to get pics working OK and b) to get rid of too many edit notices!] [This message has bee…

removed my breather kit today and hey presto all is fine. 1. idle stable 800 rpm no longer erratic, was between 900 and 1200rpm. 2. no more high vacum from under the oil filler cap revs dont die back to 500rpm when removed. 3. engine is now again quiet no noises no tappet noise. 4. vacum gauge in the car now sits where it used to 1 mm from the full point. not just below the next line down. ive never been convinced about this kit. once fitted little things started happening, i just hope it hasnt caused any damage to my engine. to those of you who havent fitted kits yet take note of the 4 points above. even take readings off vacume gauge on tickover, chec…

My Z is pretty ok at the moment. However, there are a couple of niggly things that are needed just to make everything just so. If anyone has any of these things, I would be greatful if you could mail me about them rather than post on here as I am not able to check the forum at work, however mail does work. My email address is cos.theo@mailcity.com. I will list the things I need in bullet form. * A fog light holder, lense and trailing cables from a uk rear bumper. * O/S brake light bulb holder and trailing cables. * O/S targa swingy jobby that sits in the front ridge between the front roof piece and inner rubber. Its the bit that kinda swings down…
