Rear Shocks Change, is this an easy job???

Going to have a go at changing the rear shocks on my car tomorrow night. Is this a fairly straight forward job to do?. Is there anything specific I should know ( tools required etc).

Are there any tech notes on how to do this procedure?. I can't find one on ttnet.

I would be grateful for any thoughts or comments guys.

Cheerz Andy, what a star!!. That is exactly what I was after M8. Seems fairly straight forward after reading that. I can't wait to see how it handles after changing them. The rear end is a bit sloppy at the moment when you go over bumps and stuff.

Thanks for the info
