  2. All, Pete at SE has become overloaded with engines it seems - and the waiting lists are mounting up. He's spoken to Richard at Holbay Engineering (where my engines been rebuilt) and asked if he'd be interested in building some of his engines for him, since he's got a huge backlog of work, and customers are already facing a huge wait for work to be carried out. Richard used to work for Pete a few years ago - and if you call Pete - he'll back up the above. It's worth noting at this point that Richard only does engine building, and electrical work - he does no body work! (Leave this to somebody else) Anyway, thought I'd mention this after chattin…

my drivers door must have dropped a bit. The upper door catch (that secures the seat belt) is scraping into the pillar metal. I have tried loosening the door bolts and repositioning the door, but it was only a temp fix and didn't seem very scientific to me. is there a proper way to align the door properly? Cheerz

A white guy is walking along a beach when he comes across a lamp partially buried in the sand. He picks up the lamp and gives it a rub. Two blonde genies appear and they tell him he has been granted three wishes. The guy makes his three wishes and the blonde genies disappear. The next thing the guy knows, he`s in a bedroom. in a mansion, surrounded by 50 beautiful women. He makes love to all of them and begins to explore the house. Suddenly he feels something soft under his feet, he looks down and the floor is covered in $100.00 bills. Then there is a knock at the door. He answeres the door and standing there are two persons dressed in K…

I'm fitting a new steering wheel but can't shift the bolt holding the old one on. In the service manual it says use the removal tool but I don't have one. Is it just a normal nut that fixes it on because it just won't budge. On close inspection it looks like it may have some kind of locking system. It doesn't help trying to do it on my own with the wheel moving all the time. I presume it comes off anti-clockwise?

I need the technical data that is required to upgrade my turbo's as a friend of mine rebuilds them at a good price and for him to upgrade them he needs the spec that I need. Ie 360 degree thrust bearing and adjustable actuators I believe the garrets are a t28 when upgraded. if anybody can send me a spec sheets it would be appreciated and could benefit anybody else as well.

Hi Chaps. I need to source some parts for a cambelt change that I am having done. I remember someone telling me that there was a website that listed the all the part numbers that would save paying nelson their search fee. The parts numbers I have got are as follows:- Timing Belt:13028-16V00 Thermostat:21200-42L00 Water Pump:21010-22P26 Water Pump Gasket:21014-V5001AS Water Outlet Hoses:2 off 14055-F6511 Are these correct for a 90 Import TT and is anything missing. Should I change the other belts as well. Where would be the best place to get them from. Cheers Deano
