12v and Earth Dashbord area?

Hi Guy's

Anybody know easiest place around the dashbord area to take switched 12v and Earth from.

    From the harness for the stereo is my usual place. Just depends on how much power you are needing. If it's something really big you would be better running a cable to the battery.

    I tried to piggy back my head unit by hooking up my MP3 player to it and even though it was showing 12v running to it, it would not power up.

     

    Spoke to Bob (Safe & Sound) and he told me to run from battery and guess what, works perfect!

     

    You can earth to the area right behind the centre console, I did and all is well (fingers crossed cause I did it!) biggrin.gif
