May 18, 200224 yr I think HKS and Blitz both do kits to remove the speed limiter: http://www.racecarnewmedia.com/hks/ http://www.blitz-uk.co.uk/ ------------------ Trev 1990 300ZX TT 2+2(import) http://www.300zx.co.uk/rides/trey/
May 18, 200224 yr ive not looked about much but the zcentre looks pretty good http://www.zcentre.co.uk/interior/dials.shtml to get car de limited and the conversion over to mph all fitted for £115 sounds good, something ive still got to get done [This message has been edited by Baba-Jan (edited 18-05-2002).]
May 20, 200224 yr Doesn't an ECU upgrade do the same and for a little more money you get a lot more power too? ------------------ Z first and anything else is secondary! John Newcomb (NukeEm) www.geocities.com/jn300zxtt
May 20, 200224 yr The best option is, as John says, to have the car chipped. That will remove the top speed limiter and give a load more safe power too. That's what I've just done. However, if you just want to derestrict it, I could sell you my HKS SLD (Speed Limit Defencer) for £20. I don't need it now the car's been chipped.
May 20, 200224 yr If you install the apexi rev-meter it will do the job.i had it install on my z.also it will provide some information and a cool display.
