speed limiters

hi all new face on site.just a small question.i have a tt fairlady 1990 import.

when i get to 110 i cant go any faster.

also its an automatic.

any one else had this prob if so plz can u give advice on how to rectify it. cheers.

Doesn't an ECU upgrade do the same and for a little more money you get a lot more power too?

The best option is, as John says, to have the car chipped. That will remove the top speed limiter and give a load more safe power too. That's what I've just done.

 

However, if you just want to derestrict it, I could sell you my HKS SLD (Speed Limit Defencer) for £20. I don't need it now the car's been chipped.

If you install the apexi rev-meter it will do the job.i had it install on my z.also it will provide some information and a cool display.
