Need some help with an engine belt

While I was changing my brake pads I found half of one of the timing belts flapping around! frown.gif

The belt is on the passenger side.

Its the power steering/water pump belt I think can anyone confirm please.

What would happen if this belt snaps? would it get me to a dealer now its just half a belt?

Thanks lads

P.S can anyone in the london area change these belts?

You ought to be able to trust any Nissan dealer and most mechanics to do a simple job like that. If the belt is half shredded the you want to get it done el pronto, especially if its the water pump/alternator. Even one of those mobile mechanics might be able to get you out of a jam.

This pic shows the arrangement of the belts :-
