Went to pass a Mitsu 3000 GT and he speeded up, tosser!

 

So, he we go......... foot down, spooled up the turbos and side by side to 140 mph, stayed there for while side by side and then hit it, 145....150.....155....160 mph and still pulling! looked in the mirror, he`d gone. job done.

 

Nice looking car though.

forget your high power jap stuff, the best cars for pasting are mx-5's and mgf's

the reason is theyre always being driven by people who actually think they have a proper sports car, dont start me i could rave on for hours.........

I drive an mx5 sometimes - don't knock it until you try it. I've had some quick cars but I don't think anything beats an mx5 for true fun...

Nice one Ian mate, I raced a GTO when my car was Phuket a long, long time ago and I couldn't pass him!

 

When are you coming down our neck of the woods bud? I take it you haven't sold the pride and joy yet either?

I had a tussle with a BMW M5 last night on the way home from work. He spotted me coming up behind him and floored it, I was pushing him along but unable to get past him as we were on the A444. When we got to the M42 I would normally go over it but as he pulled onto it I followed him. He gave up as we passed 150. Was fun for 30mins belting across country though.

Four possible scenarios come to mind here..

1/ You beat him fair and square

2/ He'd had enough at 140 and backed off

3/ He realised he wanted to keep his license(NIP in post!)

4/ The 3000GT was a Non-Turbo!
