Lots of houses near me in Woolwich(SE London) are in this situation, but Barking is a lot worse!

 

Once here, there is no tracking of their activities. No ID cards, no passport checks etc and that doesnt count the ones that are here illegally!

 

I'am not against immigration as such, as my mum came from Trinidad in the 70's to train as a nurse(qualified nurse for over 25 years), I have a couple of cousins from Trinidad who are qualified nurses working here also.

dont start me on this immigration thing, well ok perhaps immigration is the wrong term, im on about asylum seekers, immigration is fine, its the free loading assylum seekers that really get my back up.

Now for the controversy, does the Z32 just have the old Maxima (built when the Ark was made)12 valve V6 or is it nearer to a modern car than that?

I have to say that last year whilst driving full out in Derbyshire (Snake Pass) the only car that stayed with me was a 300ZX, Red with Momo's, if he posts or is a member then fair fookin play that man, he can drive, he had that baby cranked right over on the bends, class act my man. Craig, I have been visiting this site for more than a year, at no point did my 'visit' coincide with an appropriate post from me.

 

I won't post anywhere that I have no 'right' to, I never have, on the 200sx site, I have never posted anywhere 'Techy' as I don't have first hand knowledge of the motor, the same will apply here, on the Skyline site I have only posted a 'little bit' in the Turbo section and then only on the technical design of Intercoolers, I could post that 'info' here but before I do I will check that it is appropriate.

 

I posted in all the threads in the MKIV forum because so many of the designs were developed on the Soarer for the Supra, I think it upset 'them', because not only were they no longer the uncrowned 'Kings of the Road' I did and still do think they drive a lazy 'stroked' version of my own car and that is was basically just a very fast Hatchback. I never really slagged the Supra off but pointed out little failings that making the car a Toyota and not a 'Lexus'.

 

This seemed to...get...right...up...their noses. My heart bleeds.

 

So, I will if that is OK post occasionally on your forum, if you don't want me here then just say, you are a Moderator, well so am I on the Soarer forum, so just say the word and I'm gone. I left the Supra forum with two words to John Brannigan 'Fair enough' and the same would apply to this forum.

I believe the reason it was called a Toyota was because there is 15 years of heritage around the Supra name, and they decided to keep that going. Besides, the Supra was built in a Lexus factory and sold only from Lexus garages, shares a chassis and drivetrain with the GS300 and to my amusement has exactly the same steering wheel as the Soarer, so it's obviously not build quality or anything that makes it a Toyota - just tradition. Besides, the Lexus name has a bit of a pipe-and-slippers image, which is hardly what you'd want when trying to sell a hard and fast sports car. I seem to recall that the Soarer was sold under the Toyota name in Japan anyway, making yours a bit of a null argument.

What Keith says is perfectly correct. My J-Spec Lexus Soarer had a Toyota badge stuck on.
