better lights for only 99p!

Huge improvement, by doing this.

Go to boots buy a suitable long bottle cleaning brush.

Remove bulb for round lenz, stick brush in holder untill you can see it touching the inside of the lenz & give it a clean. Gently! you can see some sort of white dust being removed from the inside! (you will have to put a bend in the wire brush handle where nessesary-fuse box alarm etc) gets in the way a bit.

Now i have propper beams of light in front of the car. biggrin.gif

Yup this is what really gives you a brighter light. I see some companies in Japan do a cleaner kit for this. I just have no idea how to get hold of them.

I took my headlights apart to achieve this. Benefit is that you can also get to clean both sides of the dipped beam lense which seems to get filthy. Before if you look through that from the front it just looked cloudy, now I can see the bulb behind it - it makes a noticable difference to the brightness and spread of light.

whats the inside of the tube like? would it be worth dismantling it and covering the inside with the 'bacofoil'
