My JWT chip is now up for sale. Genuine, original chip with instructions (and receipt I think). Its for an auto on UK fuel. £150 ono

what do you mean by saying uk fuel i live in cyprus and i use super unleaded 98.what i'll need more evc...?how much hp are we talking about?

Oops, forgot the hp bit on my other post. JWT claim, with their air filter, boost jets (~14psi) and exhaust to show about 378-396bhp at the crank (depending upon which page you read!). When dyno'd mine was something like 280bhp at the wheels, but this was with an auto box and only 11.5 or 12psi boost. (Standard engine would be about 280 at the crank and JWT would be talking about a US spec engine which would allegedly be 300bhp at the crank to start with).

Andy, what's the rough cost of 'socketing' an ecu?

Tim

PS Sorry to hijack the thread

I reckon you ought to be able to get a computer/tv repair place to do it for about £20. The socket itself is about 80p

ASK CHRIS C for a chip i think he may be selling his out of his car(cheapish)jay
