Unless the pumps are different mine is electric hicas so I think its the same has an na pump...

Sorry mine came with no belts lol, and I have thrown my air con...

This is mine fitted, need a belt to fit power steering and had to use original alternator pulley which u can just see...

The pulleys are smaller so belt is to big, I read thread but could not find why power steering didn't fit.

The shaft on the alternator is to small but the pulley was the same size outside so just left standard alternator pulley. The power steering seems ok but my power steering had 2 rib belt electronic hicas...and new pulley had 3, and the power steering belt is to big so I need to go car shop and buy a smaller belt... The mark for the crank is in the right place on mine, a lot of people said check that but mine is right...

It wont bolt in there different, Sure u would need to change mounting brackets etc...

I have the same kit and alternator pulley does not fit, but my power steering seems ok, what is wrong with your power steering pulley, My power steering belt is to small need a smaller belt...

My weapon of choice for stubborn zeds lol, was to cut a silicon hose at the actuator...

Few more pics of the zed, its nearly back together now, got to fix my wiring loom, put the windows in and the radiator etc, Took bumpers back off to make sure everything is ok, Hopefully over the next week or two I might get to start it, Tried a new wheel on there been in my bedroom about a year lol, it fits ok... We didn't forget to paint behind the back bumper, we painted it black thought it would look cleaner from underneath lol...

I bet your hands have had it, I did the lips on my wheels and I had no skin left, Looks really good...

What I did was take glass off the speedo, used satnav speedo. And moved the hand a bit down took a couple of goes but it seems right now only difference hand does not start moving to around 5mph... Si I've forgotten to send them bloody things off... Other way to do it is use 2 screws but my way seemed easy and works great lol... Dont really need to know your doing under 5mph...

The revs on the motorway are up I think by a few hundred rpm so not by much, I did have to adjust speedo a bit, but I think acceleration in all gears just pulls so much better...

Hi I converted my car and I think its much better car for it, It makes the car feel lighter, seems like the engine pulls better in any gear... Its made the back feel a lot more solid, no more silly hicas lol...

Talking about ball joints I've worked on cars for around 12yrs heated up hundreds of ball joints and knocked them out, Yesterday me and a mate at work changed 2 ball joints, we heat the 1st one up and knock it out no problem, The 2nd one we heated it up and me and my work mate thought the cutting gear bottle had gone, ball joint must have had grease behind it in the socket and heating it up it went off like a bomb, The ball part went across the work shop and it went like a bullet lol if it would of hit someone it would not have been good, My mate looked at his chest and he had a big blob of bubbling grease on him... I think next time I'll drill a little hole before I heat another... On your ball joint can u not get drive shaft out and use an air gun, normally id use weight of the car and a jack to stop it spinning,

Ages ago I spoke to an old guy who I worked with who was good with that sort of thing, He reckons u can over tyre a car, he said u wont get the heat into them, and a thinner tyre could make your car handle better, Is this true, and would you not be better with a better quality tyre say 255/265 35 18 on the rear... I know nothing about tyres just wondering what the fuss is with going has big has possible,

I like the newer one but the old one I think looks like a sporty omega lol...

The older one is not to bad to do, and ive done them without locking tools but like jeff said safer and easier with them... make sure u get a new chain cover gasket, the newer ones the diesel in the corsa, combos etc is a pig, end up with sump and side of the engine off and they need the locking tools cause the rocker cover holds the cams in, Good luck...

I like that hoist plate u made... the zeds are a pain in the arse no lifting eyes lol...

I booted my old zed once and smoked out the bloody motorway, thought something bad had happened looked under bonnet and dip stick was out a bit pushed it back in and it never did it again must have not pushed it right in...

Cant u buy a new oem and paint it, Im gonna buy one new and then paint it 2k gloss black use some adhesion promoter 1st, should last forever... I have gloss black roof bars and the black parts of my mirrors that were dull I had powdercoated gloss black so should all go together quite well...

Whats readings are high may help with the problem
