Get the xtd, worse ways its gonna give u a year or two... To save for a more expensive clutch, but u might like it and not need another,

When I got mine I was shocked cause they look and feel solid and quite good quality, Seems a few on here have them with 500bhp, so there better then stock cause I put a new stock one in my zed which was running 15psi and chipped and it slipped near on straight the way and lasted about 3months lol... I was more worried about how the pedal feels then the holding power of the clutch, and the guys who have them aint said there horrible, so its looking good...I hope...and has you say the competition clutch is probably not much difference except the price.

The xtd one is cheap and does the job I think thats why people wont pay for the competition clutch, Its the one thing that is easy on a zed and only takes a few hours to Change if something did go wrong and you can buy 2 for the Price of some of the other Suppliers, so if it only lasted a couple of years it would probably still work out cheaper and it comes with a flywheel. If the xtd is working why waste money, I'm pretty sure the stock clutch is nearly £300, your getting an uprated clutch and flywheel for not much more... I have an xtd clutch, I'm waiting to fit with my new engine bits, Mine has the black flywheel,

Last year I bought both arches from someone I got his number on here that ebay name sounds familiar, I received them ok and they looked like they would fit really well. I never ended up using them and I can't find them anywhere so i must have either gave them away or chucked them out.

the plastic bits seem like the can handle the heat, just make sure no grit gets in there... Just seen a set powder coated and the plastic bits are fine...

I got them from paul 300zedx, there ment to be quite rare, and there original plastic not fibre glass, They don't look like they need door fillers in real life, they follow the lines of the 99spec front bumper, if anything I think it needs something on the rear bumper...

I have version r 99spec side skirts...just need my wheels on and put the car back together...

Dont worry I way 14.5 stone, sure it wouldn't make that much difference even if you weighed 20 stone lol... A z is still fast even with 4 people weighing over 12 stone, me and my 3 brothers have done it plenty of times and I always manage to scare them lol...

Just looked at pics of your car you do have a loom running along there so maybe it is for both gearbox types, Looks like I've re routed mine wrong but mines hidden away, so will leave it has it is lol...

If you look just behind the bracket on the red car you can just make out the metal bit and the loom, its been a long while since I've had my engine in lol... but my manual loom runs lower down along the top of the chassis rail and around to the drivers headlight but im sure the auto loom goes over the top... just check if your loom runs there if not you're have something to clip the loom to and no loom...

So maybe if funkysi car is a manual it wouldn't/shouldn't have one....

If you look close it is where the loom clicks to and im sure its the gearbox loom...

Its what the slave cylinder on the gearbox pushes, need to get under it to look mate...

What about the clutch fork is that damaged....

I thought the gearbox loom clips to that...I may be wrong...

Hi, Wanted to sell some bits tried to go about it the normal way and it says about classified but cant find where to start a new thread... Any help appreciated,

It looks a good idea a lot of the new cars have them, like bentleys etc... But thats to square, needs a shape to it...

A guy I work with has a machine if you YouTube spectra chrome, I've not seen the finish in real life but it looks chrome to me and works on plastic etc. If anyone needs anything I can ask him...

Is it oil and water, or is it rust, if yours has been sitting a long time or not had anti freeze could be rust from inside the block... Does it feel oily between your fingers...

Has above cut it off when i do anti roll bar links at work I use an air gun and instead of undoing them I do them up, couple of seconds and the bolt snaps clean off... Saves getting a couple of turns and then it spinning and using mole grips to hold it or cutting it with the grinder...
