Hi guys, Anyone know if the stock boost gauge has a fuse, all vacum lines are ok and checked sender with a spare, but gauge constantly at -14psi... Any help appreciated, thank you...

I bought this strut brace from ebay it came from America, was only about 40quid new... but it fit really bad and touched the throttle cover so I used a flap disc and ground the edge off then used a da sander to make it smooth and my bro in law took it to work painted it ford blue and then powder coat laquered it... I think its more for show doesn't seem like it would do much...

I had a prelude and I bought a bodykit for it, it was expensive not a cheap one, I parked it outside my house a transit reversed back into it hit the front bumper and it fell apart it just shattered, I now have an original 99spec bumper and when I was working on the car a while back the car came off the stands and fell to the floor, under the front bumper was a wheel and the bumper had wrapped completely round the wheel I thought it would be wrecked, When I jacked the car up it bloody popped out and u wouldn't even know, So me I'd take the urethane bumper over fibreglass any day...

I have bought it all exept the grill from zcentre and its stupid money, luke was saying that there's problems in america getting one side corner light...months waiting... They have ordered a few from him to be shipped to America. My boss has an audi tt he took the original bumpers off and I said he should ebay them we looked on ebay and pattern bumpers new are around 100quid, and there was audi original for 129quid,

I bought mine from zcentre, But remember Then u got the corner lights, and I bought some audi style plastic mesh but it looks pants so I want the original mesh. probably looking another 200 on top for corner lights and the mesh... Bloody expensive for a bit of stupid plastic lol...

Cheers mate im struggling on lol...2nd hand they may be hard to get hold of cause everyone probably sells them part of a manual conversion kit, And It seems a few leak, maybe its worth seeing why its leaking try take it apart, I've never taken one apart so haven't got a clue whats in one lol...

Why does your car not have one you will need one fitted to link the pedal with the master cylinder, but u could drive it without it plumbed in, they often leak...

It works like the servo on the brakes, less effort to push the pedal... I had mine not plumbed in for a while its driveable but quite heavy. Think there expensive new, and would have thought they will normally be sold 2nd hand has part of manual conversion kits...

And if it is 2stage will be cheaper to buy...

I did my car an audi colour and they seem to change colour quite a bit even though there only 2 stage pearl, Mine is suzuka grey pearl, and was only a base coat and clear so easier to match etc rather then the 3stage pearls, That dark red mica may be 2stage too...

I see a nice audi the other day in audi dark red mica looked stunning and would be cheap compared to some of them show colours... I'll post a pic up of it...

At the weekend I also managed to fit side skirts properly and the interior is nearly all back togethe... And the engine bay is near on finished too... Anyone like my bonnet rod holder thing lol...

Hi guys got this back today, I bought it new about a yr or so ago, I decided I'd paint it so I put some adhesion promoter on it and then high build primer and painted it myself big mistake lol, then my bro in law painted it, It spider web cracked I put it on to thick and used no plasticiser, So bro in law sorted getting it back off instead of da sander he Got it bead blasted with glass and water, It came back with no paint at all but had a little texture to it so I took it to work today and da sanded with 180/240/320/400/600 lol and its came up better then new...took bloody all day what a mission, Now his gonna paint it again properly without me messing it up. Heres a few pics So if u need your bumpers stripped back I recommend bead/soda blasting works great...

I know, but there quite awkward to drill and tap at home I used bench drill at work, I didn't risk it,

I removed mine and got some tiny allen head bolts and drilled holes and tapped them in the places where the rivets were but in a couple of places I had to have no rivets or bolts cause u will drill through the rocker cover, I also used some silicon like the factory to put the baffle back on, I don't think jason removed his but made sure they were masked right.

Yeah its candy blue, with suzuka grey pearl cambelt covers etc...

Used studs and dome nuts in all the holes, Looks really nice, I used a sticker thing on my plenum too lol...

Heres a rough little list off the top of my head, prices are roughly what I can remember, Some bits I've left out like about 600 bill from ztech for erm nothing lol 99spec bumper about 500, 99spec corner lights about 90, 99spec skirts I think were 250/350 I can't remember lol, 95spec spoiler with tailgate 150, 99spec spoiler with tailgate 150, 99spec 3 piece lights about 500, Perspex strip about 70, New scuttle panel I think about 150, Window dam, rear screen trim, things front screen mouldings clip to 150, Spare shell 1 manual conversion 600, Spare shell 2 for engine 500, Spare shell 3 for body for the last reshell a few yrs ago now scrap 300, Spare shell 4 I bought decided I didn't like flared arches think was about 400, Spare shell 5 the one I have now, by the time it was transported home 300, Wheels 500, Turbo technics, turbos stage 2 reconditioned lasted about a month about 750, Gt2560 turbos 750, Wiesco pistons think 350/400, Eagle rods think 200/250, Denso injectors think 350/400, Downpipes think 150, Wheels still in boxes in my bloody house 500, 2 shells stripped by me resprayred everywhere including engine bay etc, And 2 just blown over probably about 4000, Na rear end 250, Strut brace 100, Powder coated plenum 100, Led rear lights and panel took off after about a week I think about 400, Uprated radiator 100, Uprated oil cooler about 70, Trust exhaust 250, 99spec replica rear lights I broke think about 100, Another dash interior bits about 200, 2x windscreen 300, Original zed about 2000, miester r coilovers about 400, Thats without money going to buy parts and I had 2 front ends on 1st zed I crashed and bro in law crashed it lol...

Go for it when its clean its really nice, and the powder coat chrome does not have the mirror effect of real chrome,
