  1. Hi guys, I have a set of 99spec rear lights... Its all 3 pieces with the glue strips, i fitted them to my car and done literally no mileage, They have no scratches at all, the lights come with all the bulbs and bulb holders... The only thing i dont have is the boxes... 350 plus postage, These cost me around 450 and there literally new still other then resting on my car and driving to paintshop .. Thanks for looking...
  2. And anyhow there smokey old datsuns from new...well thats what my dad says to torment me lol...
  3. If it has a very small leak from turbo seals, pcv valves even stem seals it will probably have oil now in the exhaust which will probably take a good drive to burn out... Take it for a good run then see what its doing, i have replaced turbos on cars and the oil thats in the exhaust takes a really good drive to stop it smoking. It could have a really slow leak of oil say from the seals that driving often would not show but puddles of oil from 8months could have been pushed somewhere. my car smokes if left for months a good run and it stops...
  4. Im really crap with wording anyone any good at it....please.... I have 5000 leaflets from before so all ready on it lol... I could do with a trip to ireland see some family lol...
  5. HI guys not sure if I'm allowed to do this, if I'm not I'll remove it... I was working has a mobile mechanic for myself a few years back, But ended up working for an mot station to have a more steady income which didn't work out, So I'm going to have another go at this... there's a few pics of my zed on there too lol... Was hoping if anyone had facebook they would like the page for me please... My sister in law is going to sort out re opening my website, Does anyone have any tops how to get it high on search engines and good ways to advertise...any advice aappreciate... https://www.facebook.com/pages/Me-2-U-Mobile-Mechanic/257075277686213
  6. Just get a 120/180 on a da take it pretty smooth then jump to 240 then 320, couple of coats of high build with flex in it, Leave it dry dust it with a matt black aerosol then block sand i started with 320 up to 800...
  7. I thought the stock pressure sender came out the big relay/fuse box in the engine bay... 1 yellow wire, The alternaror has a plug, and another wire that bolts to it, which i thought would be that wire with dust cover... The oil pressure sender i think is that side on American cars so maybe thats why its there...on that loom. but your stock oil sender will come from the big fuse box wiring loom... so maybe just leave the new plug unplugged...
  8. The 2 in the middle look like there for the alternator, Then oil pressure sender, Then looks like starter wire, Then neutral, reverse and speed sensor, The rest plug in by the drivers headlamp...
  9. Hi mate, It shouldn't be that hard maybe see someone like markderby with a breaker and chop all the bits back on to yours... I done something similar pulled the aircon off threw it all in the bin and now feel the same way wishing i kept it, Its ok around town with tbars off but on long journeys would be nice to do the windows up, roofs on and hear myself think lol... So im interested in this too...
  10. Ok I'll look on the springs and see if they have been adjusted, can I undo the spring collars and just lock them up when they just touch the springs so there not loose.
  11. Stock wheels and cheap tyres but they were on the car with the last shocks, I think its so stiff it wont absorb the bumps it bounces over them, once its all together and I will get it tracked properly it will probably be ok, Maybe im just getting old and like comfortable, and not thrown out the seat... I dont have stock anymore to put them back... - - - Updated - - - I think they must be how they are set I haven't touched them how would I tell or set them...
  12. No not touched the springs but I have softened them with the tops... How hard did u push the car paul, I mean mine isn't that powerful probably about 380bhp and has na rear end no hicas but I did push it has far has it would go without it spinning but it would definitely have been quicker in the lanes with the new stock suspension. Theres a private road which is quite bumpy near me and has the car hits the bumps its constantly trying to snap left and right and thats in 3rd at over 70 lol...ive had zeds for 10 yrs and I know how they drive and how to drive them but this is twitchy its not the power either it only looses the traction like this over bumps... I used the tracking gear at work which is the older hang on the wheel laser system and its all straight on there but its no hunter system so I expect it not to be perfect... my tyres are cheaper budgets but there what was on it before I pulled the car apart they came on a set of stock wheels refurbished in black and were and new and they still are like new probably not done 2000miles,
  13. Hi guys when I picked my car up from the paint shop it was nice and sunny and nice clear roads so I gave it some stick through the lanes... 1st time I've really pushed it with meister r coilovers, and I wasn't very impressed lol... there nearly on the softest settings and they keep trying to kill me. over bumpy roads its like the rear wheels bounce off the floor the wheels then spin up in the air to god knows what speeds and when it lands its a bit crazy lol... I've also noticed when I pull on my drive it has a big bump in the middle and to not scrape I have to go over it at an angle and often 1 wheel comes off the floor and it wheel sins its like the suspension wont let the wheel hang and drop down...and I guess this is what its doing at quite high speeds in the country lanes which are bumpy near where I live. Before I fitted coilovers I bought new stock shocks and had stock springs, and it would go through these lanes very quick and be very comfortable, Now its horrible very hard and bumpy and has said slower and more dangerous through the corners, Only place its half ok now is the motorway but even then we have a new bridge and where they have joined it to the road its a very little bump and it nearly throws me out through the targas lol...
  14. Im gonna speak to them tomorrow, but i thought it was going so well Took these of the basecoat, and it looked good, i made him put a drop coat on last of all cause it looked like the last painter put in on to heavy and the pearl flakes sunk in and it wasn't very sparkly, And it looked great it is a better colour cause the pearl is on top its now a lot more noticeable, This is only a 2 stage pearl not 3 so the pearl goes in the basecoat. But when i got it home i noticed the bits, I have no paint at all on the ends of the bloody bumpers, a big square in the bonnet which is in some of the pics above they must have not feathered the edge out, I have a run in the back under where the lights are, and all along the side edges of the tailgate its like the paint has run making it look like little icicles...
  15. This is a bonnet they have done
  16. This is supposed to be a good company, the do air brushing and show car paints... But this is really crap, and each time I drop it there they keep it for bloody weeks...I can see the car going to the scrap yard, cause with other things going on im really getting the hump now...
  17. Well it looks shite, got it home they have missed the inner arch bits on the bumpers can see where its sunk where the primer was on the bonnet... So I now have to phone in the morning and explain again... This painting crap is really getting on my nerves now, its like they cant put the bloody paint on,
  18. The only bits that don't need painting are the tbar bits and the little square next to it... Bit annoyed cause I had the front and rear screen originally removed and now his gonna paint it with them in but he reckons he will mask it... Fingers crossed lol... - - - Updated - - - Cheers gary I hope so too....
  19. About 2 long bloody yrs lol...
  20. The lighter grey/white bits are the primer where the repairs were one side had quite a lot of imperfections, The primer shows how dark the suzuka grey is, rather then just looking white... Im so annoyed with it lately and im hoping it makes me want to keep it when i pick it up all shiney tomorrow... I'll get some more pictures up tomorrow.
  21. A couple more pics of the bloody thing, painter ended up respraying the whole car again... There was a couple of wobbles and imperfections in the paint, Hopefully this time it should look well, its ment be having the paint put on tomorrow, So i have my fingers crossed it comes out well, Everything was guide coated and blocked with 320 to 800... What a mission lol...
  22. Yeah the rockers are powder coated gloss black, so are all the engine mounts, cas bracket, intercooler metal pipes, balance bar etc... Got a battery on it now lol, was a picture from when I was working on it, and still got to buy a radiator bracket not that it needs one cause nothing moves lol...and it still will blow dust everywhere cause its designed to I have the fan shroud on and it pulls some serious air...
