Hi All, Had a look at a Z I am thinking of buying and it had a little rust coloured spoof type stuff in the otherwise Normal green water, it had a slightly greasy consistency to it. Anything to worry about or just normal gunk ?? Engine oil had just been changed and rad cap was clear also not smoking from exhaust! Any ideas appreciated? Mark H

Hi guys, I've got a 1990 TT which I've just had serviced...I've been advised that the 'box needs to be overhauled and one set of pipes is smoking, indicating turbo overhauls might be advisable. My question is this...as I live near Luton, where would be best to try and get this work done. I'm sure that I've seen replacement auto boxes quoted at around £900 in Exchange and Mart.....anyone got any useful suggestions please. I really want to try and get the work done in the next couple of weeks.

If anyone is going up to the Solihull Easter meeting on the 30th from the South West via the M5 does anyone fancy meeting up at Weston-Super-Mare or Bristol to travel up together? Also is anyone going back east via the A14 to Kettering who could give a damsel a one way lift back? Anytime on Saturday is ok as long as it is freeish as she's broke Also if anyone wants to squeeze themselves into my back seats are there any contortionists out there who want a lift there and back from Bristol/Weston area? Potential Z buyers maybe? ------------------

Recently I have seen a few topics covering clutches but there never seems to be a solution. Mine has started to slip so firstly how long do you reckon I have left b4 its phuked? and what would be a good replacement for around the 350bhp mark? Is SE's clutch any good and how much? The last 2 mornings for the first 10 minutes or so my Z has been stuck in first and refuses to change up. Also revs very high before starting to pull away. Makes no difference what gear you select or whether in hold or power mode. I look like a complete tit driving the first couple of miles in first at 5000rpm! All is OK after the car has warmed up a bit. Any ideas?

Guyz, As promised, I have uploaded the new pics in my rides section. They show the damage to the front and rear (quite minor really)and some of the mods that will be for sale. I am just waiting for a settlement from the insurance company. I will be breaking the Z regardless of whether they repair the damage or not. For those of you interested in the auto box or engine, now is a good time to have a look. It would be a good idea for you to test drive the car first before its dismantled. Thanks for all the offers to help break the car but its now sorted. Jeff - I'll keep you informed. The ECU, Leather seats and HKS ALC have now gone (or will be going…

Hi all, Just to let you know that this morning two sizable fraudulent transactions have taken place on my Nochex account. I am now working with the police and my bank to resolve the issue as soon as possible. My suggestion to you is for anyone with a Nochex account to change his/her login details IMMEDIATELY. Also, I can't sodding find any telephone contact number for Nochex. If anyone has it could you please text it to me at 07876684354 ASAP so that I can speak to them regarding this issue. Right now all I could do is e-mail their customer service centre - like that's going to work ... Danny
