Hi all, Finally found a z in my price range, that looks clean & has not been sold yet!!! 1st, do you think the price is fair? £6000 for a 91 J plate, uk spec import(which I wanted to avoid really) TT, auto, targa roof, all extras it seems exept leather, 53000 miles, thatcham alarm, new cd player, recent full service inc cambelt, nice 17" rims, says its mint condition. 2nd, I planned to avoid imports, but got a reasonable ins quote from Tesco (£750) still need to shop around tho, but what about getting hold of spares? any problems or are all the bits the same as UK parts? a speedy reply to this would be nice, getting the money out sat & will buy…

just fitted one piece prop and new gearbox mount on my uk manual car hasn't made the slightest difference still get vibes altough i am testing on axle stands ( shouldnt make any difference plus wheels are off) right any brain boxes out there have any ideas 1 could it be rear diff ? 2 should i go back to 2 piece prop? 3 dont say rebalance prop it has been done twice 4 burn car? i will give lots of money to anyone that comes up with solution cheers mark

There is this guy who wants to race me at 1/4 of a mile distance. I dont thing its a good idea to start from stop. Right!! He will get ahead i guess and maybe I wont pass him at 400 meters. Don't beleive it. Here I was sitting all smug while you guys moan about how this and that and the other has gone wrong with your Zeds while I've had to spend near nowt since I bought it. Bloody gearbox went tits up on the way to work yesterday. Got it in a garage near Docklands; not too sure what the problem is but worst case is £1200 for a new box plus £120 to change the oil cooler. Would shop around but I need the car on the road by Wednesday. As I say, Arse .
