Just had a straight through exhaust fitted (cat back) on my ukTT, and noticed blue smoke out the left bank whilst idling, it does dissappear if gently revved and doesn't re-appear until I come to idle again. Also just noticed recently that the oil pressure seems a little higher than normal, say nearly half way on the gauge at motorway speeds (80,90mph) and well over the first mark while cruising. Could this be related and any ideas on what impending doom is lurking round the corner?? cheers Jon....

I dont really complain (much!) but i really wish more people would register purely to sell their car. I know there is nothing that can be done about it really but it would be great so that we could see how many people actually have come on here. I'm sure many people will dissagree with me but im just voicing my opinion. My 92 uk spec Turbo has lost 3rd and 4th Gears this week. Any bright ideas out there? thanks in advance from the most disillusioned user of the site.

I have to say that I am confused that so many of you seem to enthuse about these cars. My experience is that they are less reliable than even TVR (I never thought I'd say that about anything!), outrageously expensive to repair, and slower than a decent cosworth. So what's the appeal? Admittedly they do look good. So if any of you just want one to look good on your drive please see my for sale ad in the relavant forum...

Very Clean UK car. Madness money spent recently - more new parts than old (turbos, heads, bottom end engine rebuild etc. etc etc.) Loads of history, 12months MOT taxed. Loss of 3rd 4th gears the final staw. Any reasonable offer considered.

Hi Guy's If anybody is upgrading to stainless, i'll buy your second hand exhaust system. Prefer performace pipe rather than standard. ( standard too quiet). Anything considered. Cheers Dave.

My ABS has never worked. I did the "diagnostic thing", but the LED on the control unit doesn't light - ever. I checked the power/ground connection at the big plug and all seemed fine. Any clues, anyone? Ta.

Hiya Guys, I have isolated the squaking in my car to the gearbox or clutch, it is loudest when I am rolling downhill in gear or when I downshift and the revs increase, and dissapears when I depress the clutch pedel, it is not affected by braking or the hand brake and goes away when I accelerate. I have checked and it is also not from the front drive belts. My clutch is not slipping and has good bite so its not that. It is a squeaky rubbing noise, similar to belt squeal. could it be the clutch bearing or something like that, how can I check and what can I do about it. This weekend I am going to grease and clean all the suspension joints and see if it makes…
