Coming back from North London on the M25 late last night....the road is empty so I decide to go for it....I tell my mate to hold on in the passenger seat...my right foot firmly planted into the carpet and I bury the throttle....the boost spikes at 13psi and settles down to 12psi...the speedo starts to swing from 120, the view from the side windows becomes a blur...the painted broken white lines of the motorway became blurred....I look at the speedo while my mate is pleading with me to slow down...6500 rpm @ 170 QED

hi folks, I'm after a fuel pressure regulator for a 93 Z UK spec. it's shown in the online manual under "engine fuel and emission control systems" page 16. Mine is leaking and causing a nice petrol smell when I turn the heaters on. if you have one for sale I'd be very greatful Many thanks Bri [This message has been edited by brian300zx (edited 26-03-2002).]

Hi guys, I'm gonna be changing my turbos on my 91TT and was wondering if it was possible to simply fit a pair of T28 units from the S14 200sx and also if it would be worth going down this route as the cost of the labour charge for changing turbos is obviously rather a large one!! Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Paul

  8. Just wondered what u all thought. I was planning to but two backboxes off dp motorsport with 5 inch tailpipes amd mate it to a full stainless system by powerflow as you can choose what sort of sound you want etc.... Would this be a bad idea on a car like the zed or do u recon it would be ok??? How about the proper stainless front sections by the zed centre and just the rear section by powerflow?? Oh i dont know!!! ZEDSTER

Hi All, Had a look at a Z I am thinking of buying and it had a little rust coloured spoof type stuff in the otherwise Normal green water, it had a slightly greasy consistency to it. Anything to worry about or just normal gunk ?? Engine oil had just been changed and rad cap was clear also not smoking from exhaust! Any ideas appreciated? Mark H

Hi guys, I've got a 1990 TT which I've just had serviced...I've been advised that the 'box needs to be overhauled and one set of pipes is smoking, indicating turbo overhauls might be advisable. My question is this...as I live near Luton, where would be best to try and get this work done. I'm sure that I've seen replacement auto boxes quoted at around £900 in Exchange and Mart.....anyone got any useful suggestions please. I really want to try and get the work done in the next couple of weeks.
