I was under my car today refixing my plastic under covers and took the opportunity to check everything was well but on close inspection to my left turbo i noticed oil round the bottom of it I would have taken this to be a seal on my turbo leaking but after getting light into there i could see there was oil above the turbo near were theres two jubilee clips,The car drives and boosts well and has no smoke at all out the exhausts the only other related thing is when i put the heater on hot it smells abit like burning oil I did think this was my heater matrix which ive just had replaced but the smells still here. Anyway has anyone else had similar problems or any ideas. …

can anybody tell me were i can buy a hks or simular after maket cat back exhaust with single exits each side.or has anybody got second hand to sell. cash burning hole in my pocket p.s two seater coupe

Hy Z Fans, i have a problem with my stage 3 (JWT)ZX TT: During acceleration (0.9 bar)if i get higher than 4500/min my car starts jerking. It feels like missing ignitions and only occours if the engine is warm. The failures are only very short therefore about every second once or twice. what could it be? Does somebody have expiriance with this fault? Could it be related to the power transistor unit? My ECU doesnt show me any Problems (Code 55) Thanks Guys Andy

I have a 90 automatic twin turbo ZX. The problem is that when you put the car into drive and set off, the revs climb quite high. It goes between 3 to 4000 rpm, before it drops into the next gear. The fluid level looks ok, warm and cold and also clean. Could it be the cable needs adjusting? Sometimes it seems as though it cant make its mind up which gear to go in! It also at times "Tugs" as it shifts gear. Also at times its like there's no power..then a minute later everything is fine! Its crazy. Other than that it seems fine. Any ideas? Thanks

Anyone any good with alarms. This has got me beat at the mo. Just got an alarm from off the internet and it has 2 neg. pulses for the locking and unlocking. Realising that there is no motor in the drivers door I have mananged to get one of them and fitted it. Now the problem starts with the central door locking interface which is a microscan an0012 which I have also had to buy, as it only seems to have 1 wire to connect to the alarms armed output. So where the f**k does the disarmed output wire go? Am I missing something? Should have just put it in garage and got someone else to do it!

Driving back from B&Q today took a sharp left and the Hicas light came on. Go back home and checked the level, a little on the loe side so topped it up with Dextron 3. Started the engine and no warning light - yipee. Turned steering wheel full right lock and still no warning light. Tried it again but to the right and the warning light came on again just before full right lock. Question..Could this be down to the steering being out of alignment? no noticeable tear wear to suggest so. Comments appreciated.

just got my new zx300 tt, few little faults,any advice would be nice on how to do: tailgate/petrol flap release cable slight surging on idle (seen a couple of posts on this, just clean throttle bodies & idle valve?) cruise contol nw, light comes on on dash, but wont set speed (worked when i road tested it!!) a million thanx

Hi, I remember someone having a signature picture of a black Z with side skirts, the Skirts looked like a wingswest skirt but the hole near the rear wheel was bigger. Is that person still around or does anyone know who makes the skirt? Mark

I am still having no luck in getting insured!!! on a jap spec 300zx. Only place that will give me a quote is tesco! and they will only insure me if i have a cat 1 alarm which is okay but they also want me to fit a tracker system! which i am not prepared to pay for cause the insurance is high enough!! i am 21 i got full no claims bonus, i just want to insure a 300zx non turbo jap spec. please help

Danny, Can you justify why you charged certain members cars 10 squid odd for using a pub car park when they weren't having any food??? FFS, Z meets are about meeting up with like minded chums and not about making money! Last two meets I've been to have been at GPS(Johnny boys) and Chester, if we wanted food at the pub then fair enough we just ordered it! I have just brought a siver 300xz twin turbo on a H plate,I am picking it up on tuesday.I cant wait,I would like to say a big thanks to my brother Tony or better known as lack 300 for helping me find this wonderfull z. And sorry to the sales man at the garage for the test drive that my brother took him on .Tony had to see if it was as quick as his.The sales man was as white as a sheet when they got back and he may have to see a dry cleaners to.I am looking forword to the next z meet thanks dean.
