I've been having a problem with my handbrake lately with it allowing the car to roll even when it is pulled up full and then once the car has rolled a few inches, the handbrake can go up a few more notches. I checked the Manual out which illustrates the use of a spanner when trying to adjust the cable where the handbrake is. However, upon undoing the press stud on the handbrake boot, I had a good rummidge and could feel something long with a nut on the end of it. So I got a thin, long reach 10mm socket and tried to turn but it would only undo. Hhhmmm!!! Decided to strip the centre console which required the removal of about a million screws including t…

does anyone know if the new 350zx wheels will fit a 300zx. and if so, does anyone happen to have part no's. I work for nissan, and the gits at the parts headquarters are now charging £25 just to obtain part no's on any parts for vehicles that are imports. i had a very heated conversation with nissan parts team in amsterdam over this matter, and he tried to reassure me that its a good deal cos for my £25 he would give me 10 part no's for the same vehicle . i am lucky that my zed is a uk spec, but just to get a part number and price for the wheels will cost me £25. apparently they are handling approx 300 inquierys per day, and they are now charging to cut down work load.

Realising that it is still all down to personal preference / sound quality et al does anyone have any suggestions as to what I can replace my speakers with / install into the Zed to get a decent bass sound? My rear nearside speaker cone has blown and is irritating me intensely listening to the twanging of an elastic band noise over my music. So : a) what can I replace it with that doesn't take up the entirety of the boot space and b) how do I get decent bass without forking out too much? I have a decent Kenwood stereo, so am not looking to change that. Ideas anyone?

have a had a search on the forum and found that the problem is more than likely related to the speed sensor on the driver side of the gearbox, was looking today...is it the thing with two wires going into it just above the point where the exhausts bend to bring them closer together? its got a black plastic top on, about the size of an old 10p piece? held on by what looks like two 6mm nuts ? help please - power steering up the swanny and also revs get to about 6000 or a toucch more and then on more - just stops giving any more power although if you ease up you can still accelerate in the next gear - have I got two diferent problems here ? 1990 auto jap
