anybody know the name of the place in Bristol that can repair my Nismo Exhaust centre section as i have a damaged area due to speed bumps!!

Those nice nismo exhausts on my 300 that you all commented on at Solihull have unfortunatly got damaged on speed bumps this week. i think that the seam has split and is now blowing. there is a place in Bristol that make custom exhaustes does anybody now the name of them i need the original s/s centre section repaired or a new one to fit regards allan

Oh dear, it's me again. My rear spoiler is shot. Paint lifting bubbling and cracking. Everyone says "the water's got in and is lifting the paint". Someone else says "once your OEM spoiler has got soaked, you'll never get it dry again and any new paint will fall off like the old stuff. Get a fibreglass one, it's the biz." Then looking at martinfa's post about his new pics over in the General forum, there are some v unkind words about f/g bumpers and Martin's off to get an OEM one. Now I know this last is about bumpers and not the rear spoiler but it has worried me. Is a fibreglass rear spoiler OK or does it have to be OEM? ------------------

Has anyone had a Cambelt and waterpump change done via a main dealer. I have had to have this done today and am just curious on how much others paid. Have been billed for 6 Hours labour + parts Thanks

Has anyone had the pleasure of replacing a rear axle oil seal ? as mine is leaking. i am a nissan technician and acording to the manual, the collapsable spacer in the diff has to be replaced , to do this means complete overhaul of diff assy. is there a shortcut where as a can still have correct preload on tightening input flange nut back up ?????? the sun is out and i don't fancy the car offroad whilst i rebuild axle !!!!!!!!!!!!!

It looks as if I will shortly (3 or 4 weeks) be getting rid of a 1 year old Nissan Centre exhaust tube assembly for a 1990 J import 2+2. If I do, would anybody want it? ------------------

How many people on here have either one of these chips? whats the difference between the two, which gives better performance? Also have many people got Mines chips and what performance gains can be had from these chips thanks aki

had the MOT yesterday just failed on rear tyres :9( and front pads but did pads and got new tyres in afternoon then it passed last night for me tyres i got bridgestones S01 what is the average price for stock rears in s01's cos i managed to get the price down to £99 inc fitting and balancing i thought it was cheap dont know what any one else thinks ?

Just wondering, I´m intrested in buying a 300zx from uk, but the problem is that I live in Iceland and there we are left hand drive , so i´m wondering if it would be mutch problem too switch and make it a left hand drive, and does the us interior fit, Thanks in advange.

just got car back from garage with new turbo technics turbos but on boost one of them is making a very very loud squeeling noise any ideas cos im really worried!!!!!!

Brought my car about 6 months ago (Jap import), and thought it was a bit strange that the speedo only had 120 mph on the clock. The other day i was clocked doing 140 mph and my speedo said 110 mph ( Hope theres no police reading this). The clock dial is the right shape and color to match my rev counter. So what the hecks going on, and what do i need to do. Have i got ot buy a new speedo or can someone sort it. Yours not knowing what speed Im doing Dave..........

hi guys please help i've had my ttz back from brookside garage today having new turbo's fitted from turbo technics. it has taken them 4 weeks to sort it out!!! when i collected the car today just after the mechanic test drove it, what a load of shit!!! 1: boost gauge not working 2: stereo no working 3: hicas lights come on 4 bout 10min 4: the turbo's make a really loud squeeling noise very very loud, so i took the car back to the garage and the mechanic came with me 4 a ride and get this!!! he heard the sound said it was ok and said u need more sound deadning what an fiiinnnng plonker im really worried bout this screaming noise can someone…

Ok lads and ladesses, bear with me on this one. Last year, before I found the fount of all wisdom that is this forum, Mr Mandela told me my exhaust was blowing and needed a new bit. OK, I said, fix it. (yeah, OK but please remember that the most complicated exhaust I had ever paid for before with my own money was probably the one on my MG Midget) Now I find that the bit replaced was only the centre section ("Centre exhaust tube assembly" on page FE-4 of the manual). Now I find my rear mufflers need replacing as well. What should I do? 1) find someone else who has standard rear mufflers surplus to requirements and throw beer at them (thanks for the tip …

I have never had a auto box before.What dose o/d do is it just for overtakeing,and there is also a button that says power or sport.Is it like the back to the future film? .Do I need to be going under a clock in a lighting storm before i can press it.thanks dean

Just did a comp test. Drivers side bank came out as 11.2;11.5;11.2 Bar. Pretty consistent. Passenger side was 10.6; 10.6 10.8. Again pretty consistent. The minimum value in the manual is 9.81 so all cylinders are within tolerance. But why the differnce between each bank? And are these figures really acceptable or should I be looking at new rings/pistons?
