No, it's not a reference to the Z headlights. If you want to see your Z in a whole new light use a torch at night to inspect into the deepest recesses of the engine bay and under the car etc. You see stuff you can not see in daylight. I can read the S/no off my turbos. Try doiing that in daylight even with a torch! Hope it helps...

I thought I'd try a 0-60 dash on my Z. Loaded the car to 4k dropped the clutch, rear wheels squeal a bit, revs go up deep into the red zone 7500+, and i'm going nowhere! Clutch slipping like mad. Rip into 2nd , hit redline and clutch still slipping. I'm doing maybe 15mph now. Then the smell of the burning clutch. Oh bu^$er! Then i try the launch control. Set to 3500 revs the engine bogs a bit but clutch grips and I'm away. So my RPS clutch needs a wee bit of attention me thinks! There is no adjustment right?

Anyone know if there is a way to get scratches off a windscreen. After waiting about 2 months to get windscreen from japan got it fitted. Next week after, the fucker froze so i scrapped it with an ice scraper and scratches appeared right in front of vision. Bloody annoying or what! Really show up in this sunlight.

Very strange this. 50% of start ups, the volts read 10.5 on charge while in motion. (i've the extra guages in ctr console added!) The other 50% of start ups & runs 13/14 volts going back to battery as is right. Is it a brush problem - alternator fubar! or is there a resistance test i can do on a hot or cold alternator to give another reason? It doesn't matter hot start or cold it seams only to charge 50% of the time, - if it diddn't work i'd buy another one simple. Any ideas, buddies. harve

Went out at lunchtime for a cruise around the town centre to observe the local 'talent' and listen to some new sounds in the motor, (targas off of course!), only to find every man and his dog is driving around in topless cabrios etc. Anybody else notice the same where your living?. There seems to be an influx of topless Porsche boxters around here also. I followed a red 'G-reg' 300ZX on thursday going out of town towards Chilworth (clean your dirty zed!!). Anyone on here?. Oh dear, it's me again. My rear spoiler is shot. Paint lifting bubbling and cracking. Everyone says "the water's got in and is lifting the paint". Someone else says "once your OEM spoiler has got soaked, you'll never get it dry again and any new paint will fall off like the old stuff. Get a fibreglass one, it's the biz." Then looking at martinfa's post about his new pics over in the General forum, there are some v unkind words about f/g bumpers and Martin's off to get an OEM one. Now I know this last is about bumpers and not the rear spoiler but it has worried me. Is a fibreglass rear spoiler OK or does it have to be OEM? ------------------
