engine question

I have a 300zx N/A 1990 US model driven 160,000 miles,I am thinking if i can make it a tt if i buy a used tt engine and everything that i need,how mutch would it cost and do you know where i can buy it from,Thanks in advange. ps sorry aboute my english, it is not so good.

I presume you now live in Britain.

To buy a TT engine with the turbos, ECU and a few other Bits you are probably talking including labour to fit about £3000 to £4000 . I reckon it will be cheaper to sell the car and buy a right hand drive ZED TT in either UK spec or Jap Spec from anything between £4000 to £6000

you can geta second hand engine for about £1700 including a 6 month guarentee i think (no100%sure) from ARP

believe me...it's not worth it.

I have been thinking to convert my NA to a TT, but you'll need so many other bits and pieces, other then just the engine, that the costs (especially if you don't do all the work yourself) will outrun the cost of just buying a TT.

 

If you're certain about doing this...I'd suggest to either get a complete TT (with heavy rear/side damage) or a TT-frontclip
