Hiya Guys, I have isolated the squaking in my car to the gearbox or clutch, it is loudest when I am rolling downhill in gear or when I downshift and the revs increase, and dissapears when I depress the clutch pedel, it is not affected by braking or the hand brake and goes away when I accelerate. I have checked and it is also not from the front drive belts. My clutch is not slipping and has good bite so its not that. It is a squeaky rubbing noise, similar to belt squeal. could it be the clutch bearing or something like that, how can I check and what can I do about it. This weekend I am going to grease and clean all the suspension joints and see if it makes…

Any of you guys wired your stop lights as fogs? I'm fed up with the Halfords "dangly" fog on my 1990 TT and since all the boot trim is out to do the rear shocks, I thought I'd convert. Anyone done a "How-to" or at least got any circuit diagrams or hints? Ta. JC - Belfast

You guys won't know who I am on about and I hope he reads this. On the one hand Nelson Main Dealers are nothing short of fucking wank to be honest! Like my ordeal a few weekends ago. However, this guy ran a Consult test and looked at the shite condition of my wiring loom eons ago not long after I bought the car. He used to work for Nissan in Abergele and Shaunmac knows who I am rattling on about. Anyway, he got promoted, his words not mine, and is now working for Skoda! LOL To be honest I think he's right! He's always had a healthy fetish for the 300 even though he drives a Micra...LOL...bless him! What can I say? TOP BLOKE! I spoke to him l…

I find the front door mounted seat belts a pain. I'd like to move the seat belts to the body pillars. I've looked at previous posts re rear seat belts and I've have a quick look under the upper trim panels and there appears to be mounting points for the front belts belts. Does anyone have experience of moving the front belts?

the council kindly dug up the path that leads onto my drive and left a large trench filled with sand/shale as in their words a temporary measure. this was two weeks ago when they left and never came back needless to say in sunny manchester the rain has washed away most of the fill in material and behold the damage to my beautiful z in the rides section after trying to get off my drive on monday.....working in a solicitors has its advantages and me thinks the council highway department will think twice before they leave holes outside my house in future

I am in need of a valuation certificate from a Z owners club or a specialist garage for the agreed valuation on my Z . as this is what Firebond insurance require. I tried emailing Luke a the Z CENTRE , but no reply yet. all I need is a letter heading to comfirm that my car is worth the value, which I can get from a ordinary garage butI would prefer a specialist. any one had one of these and where from? thanks Syko
