Obviously the 'recorded' BOV amp is way up there. To start the ball rolling: There's a device that connects to your stereo system which emulates the sound of different cars (as it would be heard from the interior) Sad Factor Score 8/10 Pete

I had to take my zed out this morning, the first time in the wet for quite a while. I normally take my other car out when its pissing down but anyway, (get on with it!), I just noticed that on almost every pull-away the arse end was-a-wrigglin' and on most corners the beast kept 'drifting' to the other side of the road. A bit scarry at times!. I am running Pirelli P6000's at the 'mo, and have come to the conclusion that they are shit when driving in the rain (still have about 3-4mm depth) There not that 'grippy' even on dry roads. A friend of mine has a TVR Grithith or whatever its called and he recommended Bridgestones?. Question really is - does anyone else on…

Put a pair of 100w bulbs in my dipped beams on Saturday afternoon. They are H3's onto which I had soldered an additional lead. Well the right hand one lasted about 20 mins before it went out ! Turned out that it got hot enough to melt the solder - that's over about 190 deg C !! (and it was melting the pvc coating on the wire and could possibly short out) So lessons learnt here are :- Use heat resistant shielding on the wire Use solder that melts at a higher temp Drill small vents in the top of the headlamp casing So at the moment I have one 100w and one 55w. I will be checking the temp of the headlamp casing when I get home tonight, and I'll let y'al…

Hi Peeps, It seems a few more people now need the JAP bulbs. Place your interest on this topic, and if I have around 20 bulbs required I will order them. They are 85W bulbs and will be £11 each including postage. Leigh.

Any of you know how to put the engine / gearbox management systems into blink codes, and/or got the technical data to work through this? Come to that ideas or suggestions also welcome - thanks in advance

I have got the booking form through for this event again, so am looking to gauge interest, before i spark off a real event thread Last years event and outcome is well documented here, so do a search if you want details.... Personally, i didn't think the track time was worth the money, compared to proper track days. Advance tickets £5 each (paid before april 29) Advance tickets £7.50 (paid before august 5) Dedicated car club track time session £750 (max 40 cars = £18.75 each) Sprint tests £7 each Had a big palaver trying to get the track time last year, and am expecting just as much hassle this year. If you order entry tickets through…

Joke sent to me by a friend in Poland Jeff TT A philosophy professor stood before his class and had some items in front of him. When the class began, wordlessly he picked up a large empty mayonnaise jar and proceeded to fill it with rocks, stones about two inches in diameter. He than asked the students if the jar was full. They agreed it was. So the professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured them into the jar. He shook the jar lightly. The pebbles rolled into the open spaces between the rocks. He then asked the students again if the jar was full. They agreed it was. The professor picked up a box of sand and poured it into the jar. Of cou…
