reset ECU yesterday (left dissconnected for an hour). reconnected ECU switched ignition on but not started still giving code 34, surely this would have read no faults as it had not even been driven? surely not the detonation reading anyway. please help.

Help!!! I've got an aftermarket boots Gauge fitted and it measures in Kg/Cm2??????????? And under full throttle the needle stops at 0.5, does this mean my car is in safety boost? and if so what can I do about it (apart from swearing a lot and eventually crying). Matt

Hi wonder if some one can give me some advice im having a service done on my zed and wonder if its worth changing the standard air filter for a performance one will it make any real difference and how often do these performance filters need changing?

Well it doesn't really but I do. I am making a site for people who are thinking about owning a Z. On this site are the answers to the simple things that people ask when buying a Z. One of the things I need your help for is what the Z sounds like. Obviously it depends on the exhaust and other mods, but mostly the exhuast. I have a Mongoose exhaust and I am gonna record the sound of my car. But it would be good if I could get some of you getting sounds from your exhaust, so people can hear the range of sounds. Ok seems a little confusion has arisen (various posts) about soldering leads on to bulbs etc. Not wanting to tread on toes etc but I buy them wholesale and can do a good deal on them (are on my site under elec upgrades) I will be at the Birmingham meet if any one wants to buy them already to go, will be at other meets too. Right, got my HKS intercoolers today. Opened the box, everything fine. However, what do i need the 3 vacuum hoses for? All the instructions are in Japanese and there are diagrams showing the carbon canister and removing the hard pipes and the recirc-valves!? Any idea? Cheers ------------------ Simon

The basis for an official register for us all would ideally have chassis numbers colour and details like mileage when registered and mods etc, but as a security precaution would not show a full registration No. The idea been to build a data base of all the zeds registered in the Uk. Having spoken to DVLA it is possible to secure certain information from them concerning registered cars etc. The benefits of this would be to track possible stolen cars and or help and assist new purchasers. It would need a nationwide approach to invite any non forum members to join a…
