hehe i rekcon his ride is wicked too and I neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed one of thosr rear wings it looks so cool biggrin.gif

Thanks any praise from 300 owners is really great. The car is not perfect, probably never will be but the problems I have now are nothing close to the ones I see reported on here. Sorry to say it but I read the posts on here more to remind myself that with all the money I have spent and the few real problems that I know are still there, my ride is in really good condition for an 11 year old, "jap scrap". The beast is a great car and I enjoy driving it every day to/from work a journey of 80 miles or so either motorway or across country for a blast and I obviously could be the owner of something a LOT worse. I love the 300zxTT and having driven other fast cars, eg. Ferarri's, Lambo's, Supra's and GTO's I would not swop this for anything less than a Diablo 6. Yeah the bills are hell and Nissan could not have designed the car to be harder to keep on the road if they had tried, but on the occassional sunny days with the roofs out, listening to the engine rumble, watching people stare and say "what the f**k is that" it is so worth it. Sorry gone off a bit there.

Oh yes the main reason for replying was relating to the question raised about my rear spoiler, assuming you meant mine not Senna's which is a superb ride. Mine is just a Universal Rallye boot spoiler from Online Autosport in Lichfield. I wanted something big like a Countach had and this was as different as I could find.

I look to seeing some of you at the first ever 300 meeting I have been able to go to next Saturday at the Easter meet in Solihull.

I got it for about £170, plus painting and fitting from local supplier but is advertised in most mags as "Universal Rallye". Nice looking and the only bad point is the fixings they use for attaching and rotating the wing on track and drags. The manufacturer in his daydreams came up with a stupid setup that doesn't last. The wing has captured nuts (oooaaa) and the allen key type screws/bolts tighten through a washer that has an exterior thread. Once the screws are tightened a chrome cap is fitted over the top to finish it off - all great so far. However, the chrome on the caps is poor quality and dulls off really quick. With the vibration from the tailgate the screw/bolts loosen up and if you leave it too long between tightening them, they loosen enough for the washer to rotate, meaning that you can't get the chrome cap off without using prayers, meditation and grips. Otherwise beautiful. See you at the Easter meet and Billing.
