one piece prop (are they the solution)

i've just driven my car after having a one piece prop fitted and yep the vibes are stil there 50mph took the car to 110mph and bloody hell how it stayed together is a miricle would a rear gearbox mount thats faulty give vibes this bad?

...easy way to check if it's the rear gearbox mount is to - get the car in the air so that you can get underneath it, jack up the gearbox (piece of wood needed to protect gearbox sump) remove cross member that holds up the rear gearbox mount (6 x 14mm bolts + 2 x 12mm nuts) Add about 4mm of spacer (couple of decent washers on the 12mm studs will do)then replace the cross member and the 2 12mm nuts. Remove the jack, get the car onto the ground and test drive it. If the vibes are less then it's the mount. You can repeat the process untill you've raised the gearbox back to where it should be. I've used a piece of ally sheet as a spacer and it works fine - cheaper than buying a new mount. But - mines a jap na, not tt.

the rear gearbox mount can drop loads and you carnt really tell until you place it along side a new one . had a vibration prob on mine and now with the rear mount replaced its like a new car
