battery negative

Just put my engine back in, ready for the gearbox this weekend, then fingers crossed I'll have a runner! wink.gif

One question that someone might be able to help me with, where do the two bolts for the negative battery cable go on the back of the engine? For the life of me, I can't remember and the service manual doesn't mention it at all.

Thanks in advance!

I will look in the morning and tell you if no one has answered in the morning.

Not sure if I'm understanding you correctly. As the cable comes off the battery terminal it goes through two clamps which are fixed to the bulkead - first from connector is a bolt (12mm) through the clamp, next is a stud (10mm) coming out of the bulkhead. The next point it goes to is the gearbox where it terminates.....

Hope this helps....

Andy
