Switch the car off, get out lock it. Then unlock it, get back in and restart it.

This always works for my PC... biggrin.gif

Fuckin hope not, put 3 litres of water in it wink.gif

I bet you did, I made the same mistake (cant believe I just admitted that)

The washer is on the left wing(drivers side).

The passenger side one is the overflow bottle for the coolant.

Leigh.

Not surprising you got confused if you thought the left wing was the drivers side ! biggrin.gif

Nah, definitly put it in the correct one (driver side).

The light had been on for ages & I was just too lazy to fill it up, looks like I've broke it now.

Will probably cost me about £6000 to get it fixed at my nissan dealer biggrin.gif

Maybe the water you used was too heavy and broke the splosh sensor (£399.00 from Nissan or high performance upgrade giving quicker reponse to dryness £0.49p @ Halfords).

Try draining the system and re-filling with lighter water direct from high altitude cumulo nimbus clouds. This can also be bought from Nissan dealers at £49.95 per litre plus £30.00 Import part check to confirm if you need U.S, Japanese or European spec cloud source.

Tap water is far too dense for a high performance Z and can result in cracked windscreen if sprayed heavily at speed.

Personally I make my own - Buy a cylinder of hydrogen and oxygen and empty the contents into the reservoir where they mix to give fully synthetic H2O which is much better for your system long term. PS, be carefull not to drop your fag in or over rev the engine when doing this or you get the the following results: http://www.nlhs.com/tragedy.htm

The owner of the early Z car has never been traced by the way.

Yeah, was tryin to get fully synthetic water but nowhere round here sells it biggrin.gif
