Hey guys while i'm rebuilding the engine, i was thinking of not putting the EGR walve back on and capping the inlet holes to the plenum and making them air tight. Has nyone done this and has anyone had any problems? I didnt think that it would cause a problem as its not electronically controlled, as far as i know only pressure/vacuum. cheers Latz ------------------

I've just been looking on the JLAudio website at custom sub boxes. For the 2 seater the box goes on top of the boot floor I think they said, but for the 2+2 it goes underneath where the spare is. They mention that the only thing you have to remove to fit it is "the headlamp aiming kit" which is what??? Is this possibly why a load of us have arse feckin' headlights? I noticed that mine shine more onto the front bumper than anywhere in front of the car! Could this be why my lights suddenly seem brighter sometimes? Coz the lights are loose and are moving around??? Hmmmmm! ------------------

Well, not completely finished, but good enough, if I waited till it was completely done no one would ever see it. I've whacked a quick site together, sorry for the delay to all those who were waiting, just been busy..... I'd love for the site to become a place where the many members of the Z community share 3D artwork and models they've done so if you do make any bodykits, backgrounds, images or animations, if they'd submit them to be put on the site that would be great. The URL is http://www.aus300zxclub.com/3dz or click the image I wanted to have a fancier site and many more downloads, images and videos but I just haven't got the time.... will u…

Ok, I have all the symptoms of temp sensor problem. Car starts from cold as normal. Heater used to come on about the same time as the guage started moving off the cold but now doesn't come on at all. Engine runs rich (smells of petrol and has hestition when warm). Temperature guage stays at normal for a while then shoots up towards max before I kill the engine. Heater is still cold. Occasionally the heater has kicked for a few minutes and then gone cold so problem is intermittant All what I'd expect if sensor is kaput. Searching through previous posts the black sensor is for the guage, the yellow one is for the ECU. I have taken the connector off the yell…

  19. We all know that the article that started the film was about a Nissan 300ZX and that the character that Dom is based on drives a 300ZX. By the looks of the special features Dom was meant to have Nissan 300ZX. On the animation real life comparison special feature, the animation features a ZX driven by Dom. This is off the comparison of the first race. Well maybe he will have one in "The Fast and The Furious 2" Hope the story line is better though.
