I bought a digital camera from Argos today, dare I say it...a Goodmans! OK I know what you're all thinking but I wanted the Olympus C-2. Currys are doing it for 169 squids, 2.1 megapixels with nice features etc. But I couldn't find it today and being the "I want it now ho!" that I am with money burning a cavern in me pocket I had to buy!

 

Anyway, I buy this Goodmans camera with a respectable 3.1 megapixels and get home and start pissing about with it!

 

So it takes nice pics, then install the software onto me craptop and hook up the camera. Select a pic in jpg format, and start the upload...5 mins...10 mins...15 mins...FFS!!!!

 

Not happy! Then when I look at the box more closely it's been re-sealed. I had this with Dixons over a Philips Velo organiser, supposed to pull a plastic tab to enable the backup battery but no plastic tab. Basically it had been sold once, found to be faulty so taken back...then along comes customer number two/three/four a.k.a. ME!

 

Fucked off with this now!

 

When are we ever gonna get back to the norm in Blightey???

 

Gonna kick off American Football stylee with them fuckers tomorrow!

 

Should have waited and gone for the Olympus instead of the Badmans anyway! Muppet!

This seems to happen quite a lot. If you take it back they'll be very apologetic, give you another one and put it back on the shelf!

 

If you want to stop it happening, report them to the local Trading Standards and see what they have to say. Selling second-hand goods as new is illegal.

 

I bought the FUJI 4800 coz I saw the quality of Wazzas pix, then Iain did the same when he saw mine.

 

Its the best camera you can get for 400 mini octopusses mate.

 

Just threaten to stay in the shop all day farting if they wont give your money back.

 

Failing that shoot the fuckers like wot goes on in that America place we all see on the telly
