Got one question for you guys with airbag Zeds. How does the cruise control lever work? I mean where are the "cancel", "accel/resume" and "set coast" functions? Do you push up the lever or push down or something...? Thanks in advance for any info you can share with me! Maciej

Following the recent posts on Dash Trims I have been looking into these. I am in contact with a local firm who supply a major motor manufacturer as well as individuals with Wood, Carbon and Ally dash trims. They do not currently do a 300ZX kit but are willing to produce these for us. They are prepared to supply the following: 1. Individual kits for any one of their standard wood, carbon, ally finishes. Working price appears to be around £100-£120; 2. Specials in any non-standard range finish that they can obtain e.g. the new stained black X-type Jaguar sport wood finish, etc... Working price appears to be around £150 depending on cost of the material; 3. Th…

Just thought i would let you all know that i am getting my forged piston crowns converted to ceramic by a new process. I read about it a while ago and it seems well worth doing. spoke to johnny about it and he got me the prices. main features: Toughest crowns ever made allowing you to play with the timing a lot more reduces under crown temp by 60 deg anti coke surface Its at a very reasonable price and well cheaper than i would have ever thought. so if anyone wants tough as fuck pistons give johnny a call at grasshopper asap. well worth the money! ------------------

big thank you to philz and C&S Wood garage in astley for changing my front tension bar bushes today for some poly ones, it makes a hell of a difference, gone is my 'woolley' steering. Phil also noticed that my front pads were almost non existant and offered to change them while i was there,i say yes, he gets on phone, orders pads, 30 mins later pads arrive and are fittted, now thats what i call service. it was also pointed out that my hicas bushes were on the way out and would need doing in the future and to top it all they even washed my car. Will i be using them again? DEFINITELY thanks again

I will be breaking it up for parts fairly soon! Does NE1 here also own an MR2 Turbo or have a friend who owns one. I'm looking for some buying advise. No jokes pleaase. I am already gutted. Hiya All Spoke to the company doing my engine refit this morning, they hope to put in the new engine tomorrow and road test it on thursday, it's taken a little longer than expected as thev'e replaced my knock sensor and some wiring and some pipe work, so with any luck should have me Z back for early next week. We finally solved the mystery of why it went tits up, a bolt from the tensioner had sheared causing the cambelt to snap, this in turn fooked up the engine big style Never mind it's only money. BTW is anybody else going to use API, simon from there said he's had some enquiries from people from the forum?? Regards JOHN
