I have been running Pirelli Pzero Assymetrico's on my 300zxTT and fancy a change as these are not brilliant. The wheels fitted are 8.5 x 18 (front) and 10 x 18 (Rear). I am thinking of going to Toyo Proxes T1-S on 235/40 (Front) and 265/35 (Rear). Has anyone got a better recommendation? I use the car everyday but also occassionally run it on trackdays and at Santa Pod.

I just got off the phone from my local Nissan dealer. He is trying to get me an air con pump for my 91 Jap imported 300zxtt as it has seized. Nissan Europe finally supplied them with a part number against my chassis details and when he tried it on their parts ordering system the answer that came up for it was "Part No Longer available". On checking with Nissan not only had they charged him £25 for the imported vehicle parts enquiry but they do not stock this item any more. He was told by them that they were only obliged to stock parts for 10 years. Now this is the limit, new version out so they stop supplying some major parts. This does not make me want to buy another …

Guys and Gals, -----Sad News------ What with all the sadness and trauma going on in the world at the moment, it is worth reflecting on the death of a very important person which almost went un-noticed last week. Larry La Prise, the man who wrote "The Hokey Kokey" died peacefully aged 83. The most traumatic part for his family was getting him into the coffin. They put his left leg in - and things just started to go downhill from there. Matty. ------------------ Bounce...Bounce...Bounce...Bounce...Bounce...Bounce...Bounce... (sorry no sound!) LOL

Hi Mate. I noticed that you have just bought the Blitz FATT turbo timer from Johnny and saw it came with the wrong harness. Well I have just also bought the same one from Johnny and it came with a GT-R (R33, R34) harness part no 51100. Is that the one you got? I have contacted Johnny and he tells me that it is the correct harness for my 92 uk spec. Not tried fitting it yet though, other problems. I have a price on the steering wheel bosses that include the HICAS. With Cruise control About £76.00 Without Cruise control £70.00 This is plus shipping. So if we get enough people together, say make a cut off date Ie the end of the month. We can order it at once and then shipping will cost much less. Anyon interested?

Following the recent posts on Dash Trims I have been looking into these. I am in contact with a local firm who supply a major motor manufacturer as well as individuals with Wood, Carbon and Ally dash trims. They do not currently do a 300ZX kit but are willing to produce these for us. They are prepared to supply the following: 1. Individual kits for any one of their standard wood, carbon, ally finishes. Working price appears to be around £100-£120; 2. Specials in any non-standard range finish that they can obtain e.g. the new stained black X-type Jaguar sport wood finish, etc... Working price appears to be around £150 depending on cost of the material; 3. Th…

Just thought i would let you all know that i am getting my forged piston crowns converted to ceramic by a new process. I read about it a while ago and it seems well worth doing. spoke to johnny about it and he got me the prices. main features: Toughest crowns ever made allowing you to play with the timing a lot more reduces under crown temp by 60 deg anti coke surface Its at a very reasonable price and well cheaper than i would have ever thought. so if anyone wants tough as fuck pistons give johnny a call at grasshopper asap. well worth the money! ------------------

big thank you to philz and C&S Wood garage in astley for changing my front tension bar bushes today for some poly ones, it makes a hell of a difference, gone is my 'woolley' steering. Phil also noticed that my front pads were almost non existant and offered to change them while i was there,i say yes, he gets on phone, orders pads, 30 mins later pads arrive and are fittted, now thats what i call service. it was also pointed out that my hicas bushes were on the way out and would need doing in the future and to top it all they even washed my car. Will i be using them again? DEFINITELY thanks again
