Mine's started to do the same thing more recently over the last couple of months. Replaced oil/filters/plugs...slight improvement but not much. Cleaned out throttle bodies and disconnected battery for an hour to clear ecu memory.... Started brillantly...ticked over nicely....for about a day, and is now back to normal. Think it maybe this air/intake/idle valve unit somewhere near the brake master cylinder. I'll have a look at it later next week if it stops raining (no garage-doh)

Could it be a problem with the mass air flow metre. I am haveing the same thing. Reading the manual, it says look for air leaks and check the fuel pressure
