Anyone heard of such a thing to improve aerodynamics ? There is no need to have a flat piece of plastic stuck on the front obstructing air flow into the radiator and over the car. Dave 'make it better' Nelson

Hi guys, Just spotted at my news agents: full writeup of the new 350Z in the July 2 edition of AutoCar. Had a quick browse and it looks absolutely fab! As the first available model is the 287bhp NA, I can't wait for the TT model to make its ways to our shores. Apparently the NA goes onsale in the US next month - lucky so-and-so's! Danny

Rear leather seats in good nick. Original factory head units - not fully working but may be useful for parts ? Rear boot blind. Original Z 16" alloys when I get new ones, also for sale - they are pitted and need reconditioning.

Problem coming to work this morning. Was about 2 miles from work in my Auto Short Wheel Base TT. Accelerated up a hill but at about 85 mph she wouldnt drop to third. She stayed at 7000 rpm until i took my foot of the gas. I had to drive to work by accelerating to 80 put her into neutral freewheel as far as possible and acceleerate again. This happened once back in March. I pulled over, turned off the ignition waited a couple of mins and problem was gone. Unfortunately I just took her out for a check during lunch (4 hrs later) and problem still there Any ideas. Any solutions by 5 pm?????? Putting the box to hold or power dosent seem to help.

(General question:: not technical) After we spoke at the Nott`s meet last month about the goose honk, I removed my recircs (your suggestion)and replaced with a pair kindly donated by Luke (Zedster) and it has effected a 100% cure! one question have you managed to split one? they look fairly impenatratable (can`t spell)to me? Any one know why so many car`s are suffering from this now? is it an age thing? Jeff TT

Anyone actually FELT it work. Must admit I haven''t but I don't boot the car unless I am going straight as I'm terrified of crashing. I reckon you need to take the car onto a track to really learn the limits of grip and control as learning them on a public road could be disastrous.

Anyone here got a really serious stereo in their Z ? I mean something with at least one external amp, a really good head unit, big speakers etc.? Not just powerful, quality sound. I plan to build my own system -jus' curious if anyone else has done anything really cool ?

I am very keen on reducing mass as a way of improving the performance of my 300. This is very satisfying because unlike mods to increase power, reducing mass should make the car MORE reliable and MORE fuel efficient and FASTER!! WIN, WIN, WIN ! BUT I would never reduce mass if it meant losing comfort or useful accessories. A 300 is not designed to be a lightweight car, but extra mass is surely undesirable. So far, all I have done is take the rear seats out and rear boot blind. They added up to 20kg ! But I am going to add a Stereo sytem which obviously will weigh something. My question is...are there any other areas where weight savings can be made ? I intend to…

Wanting a fast car and a muscular body often seem to go together. I remember a post on here before I joined where an aspiring BB was put off by people who claimed you had to take steroids to get big. Well here's the truth and some good advice... I have done weights on and off since I was about 16 (I'm now 32). For years I would train a little then lose interest etc..I made some gains but nothing too visible..ie. I never looked big or like a bodybuilder and I had serious flaws like skinny legs and flat chest. 1.5 yrs ago I decided to really make an effort to see what my potential was and to train properly (I joined a gym for the 1st time) before I was too old. I went …

Just a quick question guyz. A few months ago i had my rear main bearing seal replaced and its leeking again! The geezer at the garage said he checked the PVC valves last time he did it and recons its gone again cos im running increased boost! Surely this cannot be true???? How can the boost effect you're seal on the crank? Im temted to just tell him to replace the PVC's and the seal AGAIN! What do u lot think? A bit of advice would be really helpful! Can someone please explain how this works ? I know a turbo's size is a trade-off between turbo-lag and boost. I assume a sequential turbo is to overcome this to some extent, but I need to know the mechanism for it.
