i have been asked by a chap to advertise his 300zx (he does not have a computer) the vehicle is a non turbo import finshed in red. i have maintained this car since purchased last year (selling because he now wants a merc) 45432k on the clock last serviced friday night private plate B16SXX all trim mint underneath is spot on, i have advised that the vehicle is due a cambelt and front tie rod bushes, but apart from that its a mint car (the only thing i dont like about it is the wheels, as they are non standard alloys, but thats how it came from the land of the rising sun) this chap is looking for £6500 non dreamers or tyre kickers. i have seen a lot of dogs i…

The black paint on the wipers on my 200SX had partly worn off, so I decided to take it off(the paint) with a knife and Brillo pad - only the middle section. The result is I think they look pretty cool. Anyone else done this on their 300? I'm not sure if it will suit the 300, especially as mine is a white one.

It seems that unreliability is often caused by modifying the engine. This makes sense logically, but I think there's more to it than that... If you modify an engine to make it capable of handling more power, you make it stronger...unless you drive it to it's limit a lot of the time, shouldn't this make it more reliable ? I know many parts of an engine are stressed by higher performance, and they cannot be modified/strengthened...so are these the sources of unreliability ?

hi m8 ive just been reading one of ur posts from last year and id like to no where you heard it from. THIS IS THE POST! The Down Low On The R35 Skyline GTR Ryan Stevens of Velocity has recently given us the down low on Nissan's next GTR: the R35. According to him Nissan has dropped in a hybrid version of the 300ZX's VG30DETT that will use a single "monster" turbo setup along with a massive front mount intercooler. The combination will add up to a power output of 400HP. Due to a Japanese law that limits the maximum output of highpowerd cars to 280HP, Nissan is going to bottle up the exta 120 horses by way of computer, intake and exhaust. The good news is that when…

OK, here goes. Parked for shopping last night, np problems. Started up 1 hr later, HICAS light and HEAVY steering. Drive belt is still there, no leaks, steering works except being heavy. Fluid level may be a bit low, could account for the light but not the heavy steering. Any BRIGHT ideas PLEASE??

hi guys, I think my Starter motor is not working properly, it starts the car but when i turn right or accelarate hard it it makes a realy loud crunching noise. someone i spoke to said it could the starter not dis-engaging properly and that it could be catching on the fly wheel. if this is the case can the starter be reconditioned and where abouts on the car is it located so that i can take it off. cheers aki
