Just to say thanks for all the lads who turned up yesterday in The Miller NOT The Nottingham Knight(Nico). 6 of us turned up in the end, Zedster, Van300, Vinz, Etower, Nico and myself. The day was summed up as being "Aspirated" according to Vinz. "Aspirated" became the word of the day.............Long Story. Thanks to you guys that turned up, was good to meet a few more owners. Apologies for not having any pics, forgot to take camera with me but a couple of the lads did take a few so I dare say they will be posted. Laterz....

Any oil has a limited life. Better oils generally last significantly longer than cheap ones, and give better protection and performance. But it's better to change a cheap oil often than leave a high quality one in for a long time. I'd say no more than £4,000 miles between changes. Remember that prevention is significantly cheaper than cure when it comes to 300ZX's and an oil change costs peanuts by 300ZX standards. Time, temperature and use(no. miles driven and driving style) affect the life of an oil. So Twin Turbo cars in particular with high engine temperatures need more frequent oil changes (at least twice as often as a regular car). Oils age much faster un…

Right I just spoke to my buddy at home and have results he carried out for me on the Intercoolers I had made. We tested a stock intercooler for temperature drop and one of my intercoolers in the same conditions at the same tests. We also tested a set of HKS intercoolers The car has an exhaust, intake, JWT chip running around 1 bar of boost. We tested them the following way. Driving at a constant 120kph or around 72mph motorway speed. We then tested them accelerating in third gear from around 50kph till 120kph We measured the inlet and outlet of the intercoolers. Stock Intercooler. 120KPH Inlet temperature 46degrees c Outlet temperatu…

Dastek UNICHIP DASTEK is a company established 28 years ago. The owner has had a passion for tuning for the more than 20 years. Some years ago he became more and more frustrated as more and more cars became electronically controlled and he couldn’t tune them anymore. DASTEK set out to crack the codes on some vehicles only to find that some manufacturers change these every few months. Very soon it was realised that this is not a feasible way of doing things. He then set out to develop a universal system which will enable one to re-map vehicles dynamically. The key to the success of the UNICHIP is that it is done in real time. Whilst tuning at any given point we are not c…

Are the springs dedicated?? i.e left & right only??If they are how do you tell which is which? I'm asking because on fitting my Koni's on the front yesterday, I noticed that the front left spring on the shock appeared to be bent from top to bottom (off the car). When I took the spring off the shock it seemed OK though. Anyway, I was replacing the springs with my spare set anyway and it appeared the same when all re-assembled. I was wondering if I should replace the top spring rubber mount & bushing?? Maybe not compressing the spring evenly due to wear?? cheers Jon.....

Boost Controller, Standard Turbos & injectors, SE Chip, Blitz Intake, SE type twin Intercoolers. Super Drager Exhaust, ? Also approx how much boost can I run with this setup? I've been using about 15psi with no real problems for 9 months but will the proposed intercoolers let me go higher? I know the turbo life will be shortened but what is the max they can put out? I've heard about 17psi? If it sounds shite its cos i'm pissed

Sometimes when I press the accelerator, the acceleration doesn't go up initially, then without moving my foot the revs go up significantly as normal. What is this and what is the solution? Thanks.
