Is anyone here going to the show on Sunday Morning, but leaving from anywhere near Liverpool area ? usually i fly over but airline has changed all the times, thought i would try and catch a lift there and back if anyone is going that way and your from Liverpool-ish, gladly help with fuel costs etc. mail me if yer are. cheers smithy

downloaded some films converted them to vcd from avi's,just wondered if you know of any software that could cut them into two to put on cd???as it is 1.2gig and it ain't gonna fit on a cd!!

Any body fitted a set of these. My question is I have the four hoses and 4 male to male connectors, but on looking at the original hoses they have like a clamp they go through with a clip does this not matter with these SS lines?? Or am I missing some bitz it's a boxed set for a Z32 apparently!! cheers anyonezzzzz

Just been looking at a HKS site ,and reading about the "EIDS" UNIT. has anyone got this running with their BLOW OFF VALVES?this is the first time ive heard of it so id like to no if it makes any difference. jay

BIG thanks to JeffTT for the gearbox flush and oil change yesterday. My Auto box was playing up a bit and needed a flush, had this done yesterday and it's like I am driving a new car, seriously!! I have been blowing black smoke when under load and it's been holding the gears plus power steering has been 'tempremental' to say the least....... I had already changed the speed sensor, TPS and both the fuel regulator and fuel dampner, made no real change for a week or so until I had the gearbox flush..... I can now motor under full load with no smoke, no holding gears and it changes as smooth on the way up as it does on the way down and when I am driving no…

After taking a friend of mine for a run (Set Boost to 14.5 PSI) he told me that my boost doesnt seem to be stable. I couldnt say if this was true or not because i couldnt feel it. So I try to use the graph (SBC-ID Blitz Boost Controller function) and see if this is true or not. First I did a run wuth standart PSI and the graph was very smooth. Boost goes up and stays up. There is a nearly straight line at 11PSI Second run I turn boost on and try again. The result looks like this. Boost goes up to 14.5/15 PSI and then drops down immediately to 12 then goes back to 14.5/16PSI then drops to 12/12.5/13PSI (random). And this goes on and on. Anyone experie…

anyone feeling brave for those who havent done a 300zx cambelt and fancy trying check out www.ttzd.com there are even pictures. top tip: when removeing the back wheels to check the back pads, secure the vehicle in the air, remove the caliper and pad holder (two 17mm bolts) rest this on the suspension remove the disc, clean and adjust the handbrake shoes and the inside of the disc rebuild for a shit hot handbrake

i have been asked by a chap to advertise his 300zx (he does not have a computer) the vehicle is a non turbo import finshed in red. i have maintained this car since purchased last year (selling because he now wants a merc) 45432k on the clock last serviced friday night private plate B16SXX all trim mint underneath is spot on, i have advised that the vehicle is due a cambelt and front tie rod bushes, but apart from that its a mint car (the only thing i dont like about it is the wheels, as they are non standard alloys, but thats how it came from the land of the rising sun) this chap is looking for £6500 non dreamers or tyre kickers. i have seen a lot of dogs i…

The black paint on the wipers on my 200SX had partly worn off, so I decided to take it off(the paint) with a knife and Brillo pad - only the middle section. The result is I think they look pretty cool. Anyone else done this on their 300? I'm not sure if it will suit the 300, especially as mine is a white one.

It seems that unreliability is often caused by modifying the engine. This makes sense logically, but I think there's more to it than that... If you modify an engine to make it capable of handling more power, you make it stronger...unless you drive it to it's limit a lot of the time, shouldn't this make it more reliable ? I know many parts of an engine are stressed by higher performance, and they cannot be modified/strengthened...so are these the sources of unreliability ?

Guess a lot of people have though about this, or maybe not. The front registration plate seems to be blocking an aitr intake for the radiator, has anyone got around this using a stock front bumper? how bout somthing magnectic on the front, any suggestions welcome cheers rob

Yup im sellin up guys. My 91 TT auto is up for grabs. Ive spent a heck of a lot of cash on this car and you will struggle to find another h-plate in as good nick. Its been maintained absolutely regardless of cost and has had many extras. hi everyone hows things? im bored and reading some posts on our american verion of the 300 forum ive just been reading about someone installing a large single intercooler and was wondering if you no of someone who has done that here? as an idea id of thought it would of restricted flow to your radiator and which would of caused a lot of problems and not been worth doing? what do you think?

ive been driving auto's for ten years and always wondered(hope this aint a daft question?) can you rev ya car to say 3000rpm while havin the drive in PARK ,then put the gear change to drive ,while still revin high? will this fooooook ya car? ive never done it as i always thought it would foooooook my gear box????
