My cousin used the have a Skyline which had a dump valve and it made a really nice wooshing noise. I know absolutley nothing about engines apart from the fact that you have to put petrol in it. Is it posible to add dump valves to an Auto TT ...? If so how much are they likely to cost, and would I have to tell the insurance comany...? And would they make a nice wooshing noise...?

Hiya...you mentioned snap-offs at around £300....where can I find these?.....sorry if I'm being dumb, didn't know they were available.

Ooooh looky here. J Perf just dropped thru the letterbox. I'm off down the pub to read it in peace and quiet but here's some choice chunks... The Z is back with 287bhp and looks to die for. 3.5l quad cam V6, 6 speed manual 0-60 in 6s, 150mph Nissan is about to launch its sexiest best-handling most testosterone charged 2- seater in decades. It's a genuine gold-plated five star corker. Unlike the last 300ZX which had ballooned to the proportions of Pavarotti (watch it sunshine...) $26,269 = £17,500 (yeah - right)

Morning all, Considering getting a 300ZX, and wanted honest opinions on the car, things to look for when buying, service/running costs etc. Also, I noticed that the majority of the TT engines are auto - does this restrict performace? Is there a manual box available as an aftermarket replacement? Thanks Andy

I've seen a few posts about removable Steering Wheels and a few rides with a non standard wheel but where do you get a hub that's compatible with the HICAS sensors? Do you have to run with HICAS disabled and if so what is the effect? ------------------

My clutch has now got to the point where it slips in every gear except 1st and 2nd, so I guess it's about time to replact it? Just wondering what uprated ones anyone has tried, where you got them and what they cost. I remember people mentioning AP or ACT at the slough meet. Just want something that's still drivable, not too harsh on the take up. Cheers

Checked ecu, nothing wrong,in the sensors! cleaned throttle bodies, reset the butterflies as per manual, still when start from cold revs it's nuts off,for fisrt 20-30 seconds then drops to about 1600-1700rpm,then slowly drops to a pretty stable 700-800rpm when warm!!!!! P.S. when i first got the car about 6-8months ago the engine idled at 800rpm then occasionally shoots up to about 1300-1400rpm it seemed to do this if you was driving steady!!!race it a bit in gears and it would settle again to normal tickover!!! but it doesn't do that anymore and i never touch anything!!!!!!!!!!!!! anybody any ideas running out of them myself!!! ----cheers--- --neil-- …

I have heard that the wrong antifreeze can be bad for your heater matrix. Can anyone reccomend a good easily available antifreeze, or should I go to Nissan? Thanks

In light of what has happened to K4$H with his car getting nicked think carefully about posting pics of your cars without blanking your plates out! When the thread "Where is everybody from?" springs up from time to time try and be a tad vague instead of giving which village or town you live in. Maybe now some people can understand why AndyP didn't want his car photographed at the Dyno day a while back. ...and reading that thread that Nico put up about the stolen RX-7, just goes to show you can't trust any fucker really! ------------------

BIG SIGH OF FUCKIN RELIEF!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They nicked it and left it 7 miles from maldon. They took around 10k worth of ice though but im just glad i've got the car back!!. Never really had much faith in the ol' bill but i guess that'll change now. Thanx for all tyhe help guys. I really do appreciate it from the bottom of my heart!!.. Chears once again guyz.

When changing from second to third it crunches and wont go in, if I wait a second or two it goes in without too much effort. So what are my options guys, rebuild on the gearbox, second hand one? Induction kits…. I’m thinking about buying an Induction kit, there seem to be a few options. I was thinking about a Blitz, as most people seem to rate them, but I have also seen a twin cone one from Cybercraft (as advertised on the Z Centre website). I’m looking for an easy-to-fit kit that provides the most HP gains with the least maintenance. Has anyone fitted either of these kit’s and are happy / unhappy with the results ? Or can anyone recommend another kit ? Thankz in advance Herman
