I'm working on a little project and need to find people who drive/own Nissan Skylines (R32,R33 & R34 both normal and V-spec guises). Does anyone on this forum know anyone who owns any of these vehicles? If so, could you please ask them if I may contact them regarding a project. Many thanks. Danny

Hi guys, I would have e-mailed you individually but my e-mail service is currently fooked (will be for a few days) so am using the forum instead. The ConZults have arrived and apart from sticking on the address lables they are ready to be dispatched to you. I'll get that sorted Wednesday morning and so with a little bit of luck and cooperation from Blighty's finest postal men & women you should have this most invaluable of toys by the weekend. If you need to contact me then please use dannyzaat@yahoo.co.uk rather than danny@zaat.com. For anyone else who is interested in a ConZult, please e-mail me. Hi, Does anyone know if you can get a cover to blank off the second stereo DIN socket? (I think they're called DIN sockets...?) I've installed my boost controller there and what to keep prying scally eyes off it - I'm sure they wouldn't realise it's no use to them but it's shiny - f*ckin' magpies!! Cheers!! RobH

Wasn't planning on upgrading the Sony stereo just yet, but some nice person has decided that I should (not sure I needed to replace the passenger window as well, but they obviously felt it wasn't worth leaving in one piece.............!). Anyway, in an attempt to avoid killing my no claims, I've put most of the dash back together. The only thing missing now (other than the Sony and original Nissan CD player) is the metal cage that holds the radio & CD together (which that nice person obviously felt would fit in his Fiesta / Nova / Escort........) Anyone got one going spare, or know of anywhere I could try to get one. If all else fails, I guess I'll have to…

Anyone had this done ? Does it affect the aerodynamics of the car - I reckon it would; but you will save on weight of rear window and car may look better ? Any comments ?

Hi, I wonder if anyone can help ! I have this strange squeaking noise that seems to come from the front of the car. Happens everytime I hit a bump and also when I shut the doors. Somethings loose, rubbing but I can't find it. Sounds like a Guinea Pig ! I wondered if any of you fellow Z owners have had a similar problem. Regards Darren

I am considering using http://www.chipsawaylondon.com/ to clean up some paint paint chips and a scratch. Has anyone else tried this? I am worried that letting the wrong guy near my car with a can of paint could make thinks much worse instead of better. Any advice would really be appreciated.

Any one have one going? I put my new spoiler on today. Thanks to Dave for selling it to me and thanks to Steve for helping me today. My old one is such bad nick the screws on the blanking plate for the light have rusted and are just falling apart. So I thought I may try find a Brake light for it. Any one got one? Stuart

I had to get a new windscreen for the MOT tomorrow, (covered by insurance). The new one is Blue tint, (UK), whilst I have Bronze tint, (Import). I was told I faced a possible 6 weeks delay held out for the Bronze. I went with the blue. It looks good straight on and side on, the 1/4 view clearly shows a new windscreen verses old side windows but the tint is not strong so you have to look closely to see the difference. So the moral of the story is do not get broken windscreen less that 6 weeks before the MOT. Unless you guys know better?? Simon

What a fantastic day for motor racing yesterday!! Went to the Moto GP at Donnington Park to see Rossi destroy the opposition as usual. Top viewing, top racing and top totty!! Took nearly three hours to get out of the car-park though, and then the entire M1 back to London was also a car-park. Took nearly 7 hours! Saw a couple of zed's on the way up, round the Northampton area. Both in silver, and both looking clean but standard? Nice to see them out though, still looked better than any of this bland modern crap.

Hi, nearly had a heart attack at the weekend when I glanced down and saw a nearly zero reading from the oil pressure guage. with some relief I've read the old posts and it would seem that it is the pressure sender. I've got a jap import with the origional dash and clocks.....can i use a UK part? Your advice is as ever much appreciated Nick

Spotted going towards the NEC yesterday at about 13:30.......White, aftermarket alloys, I was in the black Z that got infornt of you on the island....... Miserable git he was too, put me thumb and he looked at me like I shouldn't be driving a Z............the cheek of it! If your on here, be nice......it doesn't cost you nothing. I am guessing though that your not and you spend thousands at nelson's getting a substandard performance!! Remember it takes 34 muscles to smile but only 4 muscles to extend your arm and slap the miserable git!! Matty. ------------------

Just bought a standard spec '91 import TT 300ZX at the weekend and absolutely loving it. Anyone out there know a good/trustworthy non-bulshit place to entust it to,somewhere around the Bexley/Dartford area or maybe further afield if not? Also any ideas on the best tyres to fit? Any helpfull sugestions much appreciated. Ta.

Also what's the score with this boost pressure/duty cycle thing?? Is the boost the maximum boost and the duty cycle a percentage thereof...?? TIA!! RobH

Ever wondered what it’s like having a car spinning out of control towards you on the motorway? Well that’s what happened to me today driving home from work on the M11. It seems that a lorry clipped the rear end of a car whilst changing lane and sent him spinning into the right hand lane just as I was over taking the lorry so I didn’t even see the car till he was on top of me. Guess it’s the end of the road for my baby then. Gutted though because I’ve just spent over 6K in the last couple of months for engine rebuild, new turbos and gearbox, don’t suppose the insurance company will give a shit about that and just pay book price. Man this really sucks
