hi everyone, just been lookin through the past posts and couldn't find any info on what sort of specs you crazy people tune your car to, i.e rwhp(or claimed hp)OR ENGINE HP,(cheers b19rks) mines about ready for a rebuild(94000miles) not wanting to goto big turbo(as my girlfriend drives the car aswell,,,,she don't like lag!!) my thoughts on mods are, air filter, already got scorpion exhaust, ported heads, underdrive pulleys, fuel controller to allow use of 2 or 4 more injectors for extra fueling needs, raise compresion(using water injection to control detenation)to eliminate any lag, don't want BOVs (recirc's alot better), does this lot sound like…

whats gonna happen this time?? Last year we parked in with the Z club which was fine by me, I love those old zed's even though the owners think that Z32 people are drunken louts or hooligans. At Nottingham we got a few Zeds together but then got blocked in by about 100 identicle red FTO's and no one else could join us. So have we got a space or should the first few of us there just capture a space and chase away any invaders Would be good if we could get all the cars together this time Paul

as i had not done these stats for quite a while, i had no real idea how much the forum had grown.... from 13/jun/2002 10:12 to 21/jun/2002 14:23 = 8.25 days = 5,590,677,640 over 5.5G from 21/jun/2002 14:24 to 30/jun/2002 09:47 = 8.75 days = 6,313,681,652 bytes over 6G from 30/jun/2002 09:51 to 16/jul/2002 23:30 = 17 days or so = 10,333,807,758 over 10G so on average, we are looking at around 20G per month which is what Mike has offered. Although we could trim some down by disallowing large sigs (or any image sigs), disallowing video clips, limiting the image sizes again, and also the number of images allowed etc.. but i …

At one stage, I was going to try to do this "properly" - but ran out of steam / time / resource. Anyhow, the chief teapot isn't letting me go to Billing this year so I can make this suggestion without fear of being held responsible for the success / failure. 1) We all love this forum 2) Many have supported fund-raising and, I am sure, many others feel the same. 3) Like JVN, many of us have "stuff" cluttering up the garage. 4) Many are going to Billing. Suggestion - why not post here stuff you want to get rid of and are happy to donate part of the proceeds to forum expenses. Settlement at Billing where Craig / Nic can get their hands on the m…

I've been in this business since punching 80 column cards to program Southampton Uni's Fortran beast (when computers were real computers and small furry animals from Alpha Centauri were real small furry animals from Alpha Centauri). However, for the past decade I have been unable to get a nice, quick, easy synchronisation between my PC-based address book/diary and a device to carry around. I won't bore you with the details (yet) but believe me, I have tried. I even converted everything from Netscape Messenger to that spawn of the Devil, Outlook and the f***ing thing still f***s up when sync'ing with my Psion 3mx. I quit. And I need your help. A business trip to …

Glen, Massive thanks for all the advice and for getting the disk to me so quickly. It slotted in perfectly and connected up dead easy. And there's no need to call me back (I left you a message earlier with a question but I sussed it). A related question for anyone who understands these things. I'm formatting as FAT32 as I need ultimate performance. This limits me to a 32Mb partition. I now need to format my second partition. If I create this as an extended partition instead of a primary one, will this mean that the second partition 'looks' as though it's part of the same drive ? i.e. the first partition is drive E - if I format the rest as an extended parti…
