This week I have finally done a couple of things that should have taken me 20 minutes a piece, but actually took me over 6 weeks for the first and 2 hours for the second. The first was to fit a pair of Pulsar side repeaters. The type that Harve and Tony have got. They are flatter that the standard repeaters and I prefer them. However, being as you only have a 1.25" gap to get the bulb holder in, it has take me 6 weeks, on and off to fit these bastards....But I did it. They were a bitch to do and I have several stanley blade scars to prove it. Now I know why Harve was keeping the fitting instructions close to his chest. If any one wants a pair of these fitting, I…

Went to Max Power today and was pleased to see a total of 5 zeds. Kash's green one,Tooleys silver one, A yellow one and a black one in the car park, and the star of the show The black one doing stunts/ burnouts for the crowd on the cruise strip, its funny listening to a crowd cheer twice as loud for a black z than two silver M3's, Made me feel very proud to be a Z owner. Sadly i only got about 4 pics of zeds as i used all of my shots on all the fanny, which was nice.

Can't believe it, stacked my car tonight. Luckily no one hurt and no one else involved. Driving a little too fast and couldn't slow down in time. Also had car booked in for replacement front bumper on Monday so really glad that hadn't been fitted but current bumper, drivers headlight, both wings and windscreen all knackered. Harve and Topsquads forget about buying parts both have had it. For the guys who sell second hand parts need a new drivers headlamp, two wings and a windscreen, bare in mind this is a swb if that make any difference. Just had to get this off my chest soooooo gutted as only been back on the road for 3 days. Just a reminder that…

Going to look at a 92 Z tomorrow. It's done 80,000miles is a TT and manual. Hes asking 4K. Is this a good price? What should i look out for and how can you tell if the turbos are on the way out? What are the cars like to drive and is petrol consumption that bad? Also im able to get a water injection system cheap, will it be of much use for a Z? Thanks. Rob

i pray that you can help me. i am not able to find out why this cylinder is not firing. i have tested all wires going to coils and injectors. i i get juice on 2 wires and other is ground at all cylinders except last one rear drivers side. it only has voltage on middle wire and not to red strip wire. thus i am getting no change in engine when i remove coil connector with engine running. also getting raw gas in exhaust causing it to burn there and i know this can damage rings and cat and many other things i have also removed connector to ptu and find same wire to coil is dead at this point. no voltage. is it a broken wire or bad ptu or can i test at ecu? …

I have just read on the GTR register that a gang of theives are heading for Billing - specifically for Skyline parts and cars, but will probably not be too fussy if the opportunity arises, i paste this for you all: ------ JAE Warning Guys, word of warning for you if you're going to JAE at Billing in a few weeks. There's a gang of car thiefs going who are specifically looking for Skylines to nick and they aren't going after just cars either. Apparently they're going for things like exhausts, intercoolers, wheels etc. If you haven't got any locking wheel nuts I'd get some for the event. I know this isn't just a rumour, because a not-so-honest "mate" of…

plz read my post regarding my engine cutting out when it warms up(possible ptu) When the rac guy come to look at my car,he insisted that my problem wasnt my PTU,(he didnt have a clu i thought) anyway he tested my ignition to see if it was igniting OR SPARKING properly and as he said it was ,becaus of this he said it couldnt be the PTU.WHAT DO YOU THINK? is there any other reason for this happening to my car(stalling) he checked the ignition, fuel pump, all the fuses, but seemed to think it may be induction related(maybe connected to my goose honk?) but when i run a ecu diag while the engine was hot it showed 55(ok) later about 20 mins, i done a…

ive just read this on tt net,its got to be the best explanation of my good old goose honk:= The recirculation valves are modulated by vacuum signal from the intake plenum. When you boost 10PSI at WOT, the intake pressure matches the vacuum control pressure and the valves remain closed. Let go of the throttle and the intake pressure starts to climb because the turbos are still spinning, but on the other side of the throttle plates a vacuum immediately develops. Suddenly, there is a 20psi pressure difference between the intake and the recirc. valve control lines...so they open. What is happening is that when boost comes on at partial throttle, the pressure difference…
