Craig/Nico, http://www.wds2000.co.uk/products/hosting.asp Have a word with these guys, see what they can do for the forum. Select the 'Gold' option, I have not read it through properly but seems like there are no limits (bandwidth/storage) for 50 pounds per year. Worth a look. Might be what's needed. The time is nearly upon me to get the engine tuned correctly. But it has to be by someone who is not going to blow up the engine again on the rollers. I seem to have limited choices if I want someone with access to a rolling road and dyno capable of over 400bhp. And also someone with a really good knowledge of modified 300zxTT's. It seems to be SE Nissan or no one but they don't have their own rolling road and refer you to the guy who they use in Colchester ... no I normally like referrals but I had that problem recently, hence a blown engine. Called Abbey Motorsport but although they are very nice they don't have a lot of experience on 300s and no rolling road. So w…

Whats all that about then ? ? ?? ? I understand the basics and am looking to get a decent electronic boost controller but I'm worrying about going pop. The stock ECU listens out for knock/detonation and then reduces the max boost to save the pistons - right? (OK - so theres O2 sensors, fuel quality, temperature etc etc to think about as well) But does anyone know if any aftermarket boost controllers sense knock to adjust max boost ? ?? ? Anyone got any experience of this, or advice on which controller to go for. Cheers ZZZZZ-Head

After missing out on the Isle Of Wight Batmobile - Grrrr, talk about gutted, at least the hovercraft was fun I suppose - i'm still looking for a Manual TT Zed (have almost lost the will to keep looking). Any colour as long as it's not red. (no offence to those who own red ones - they're just not my thing) Anyway, if you've got the car, I've got the cash.

I already have a sub box containing 2 full range speakers, but am looking to replace them with two 8inch Subs, and add two mid-range / tweeters to the rear pods. The question is… I am keen on the Infinity Kappa range of speakers, so I am looking for a couple of 8” bass drivers which will provide the same ‘punch’ and ‘clarity’ without being ‘boomy’. Can anyone, based on experience, recommend any speakers which will do the job? Thanks. Herman

Read it to the tune of 'I Am The Very Model Of A Modern Major General' -- I am the very model of a forum personality. I intersperse obscenity with tedious banality. Nicknames I have plenty of, both genuine and ghosted too, On all the countless car groups that my drivel is cross-posted to. Your bandwidth I will fritter with my whining and my snivelling, And you're the one who pays the bill, downloading all my drivelling. My enemies are numerous, and no-one would be blaming you For cracking my head open after I've been rudely flaming you. I hate to lose an argument (by now I should be used to it). I wouldn't know a valid point if I was introduc…

Anyone have any suggestions as to who can supply the Stillen Type III side skirts and the door fillers and at what price? Heres a pic of SeedyRom's very nice 2+2 Z with the type of side skirts I'm after: I've heard that Mike at MJP can get Stillen stuff. From Stillen direct the door fillers are approx £76.16 and the side skirts would be £237.35 (Note: this is all without shipping, VAT, import duty etc). cheers, ------------------ Trev 1990 300ZX TT 2+2(import) http://www.300zx.co.uk/rides/trey/

hi everyone, just been lookin through the past posts and couldn't find any info on what sort of specs you crazy people tune your car to, i.e rwhp(or claimed hp)OR ENGINE HP,(cheers b19rks) mines about ready for a rebuild(94000miles) not wanting to goto big turbo(as my girlfriend drives the car aswell,,,,she don't like lag!!) my thoughts on mods are, air filter, already got scorpion exhaust, ported heads, underdrive pulleys, fuel controller to allow use of 2 or 4 more injectors for extra fueling needs, raise compresion(using water injection to control detenation)to eliminate any lag, don't want BOVs (recirc's alot better), does this lot sound like…

whats gonna happen this time?? Last year we parked in with the Z club which was fine by me, I love those old zed's even though the owners think that Z32 people are drunken louts or hooligans. At Nottingham we got a few Zeds together but then got blocked in by about 100 identicle red FTO's and no one else could join us. So have we got a space or should the first few of us there just capture a space and chase away any invaders Would be good if we could get all the cars together this time Paul

as i had not done these stats for quite a while, i had no real idea how much the forum had grown.... from 13/jun/2002 10:12 to 21/jun/2002 14:23 = 8.25 days = 5,590,677,640 over 5.5G from 21/jun/2002 14:24 to 30/jun/2002 09:47 = 8.75 days = 6,313,681,652 bytes over 6G from 30/jun/2002 09:51 to 16/jul/2002 23:30 = 17 days or so = 10,333,807,758 over 10G so on average, we are looking at around 20G per month which is what Mike has offered. Although we could trim some down by disallowing large sigs (or any image sigs), disallowing video clips, limiting the image sizes again, and also the number of images allowed etc.. but i …
