Am i the only one on here that has problems with detonation when running at 1 bar of boost. I have had to turn the boost down to about 12.5 to get it to stop. The car has got exhaust, air filter, chip and hybrid turbos. Surely even tho it has bigger turbos it will still run at the pressure that the evc4 says.

Can anyone help - I am trying to id the wire that I need to cut/circuit I need to bypass to stop [some] dash components dimming when the head/side lights are turned on! Its mainly the aircon display that I want bypassed so that it does not dim! Any help appreciated guys. Andy

hi people. bought a 300TT, auto couple of weeks ago, got the box reconed cos it was ko'd. problem is it seems to be very sluggish. kickdown only kicks in 40-50% of the time! just about got away from a vectra at the lights the otha day. could it be the box? any tips on wat i could do? p.s. 0-60 well ova 7secs, wat should it roughly be? nice1 jaz

just spotted a van in middlesbrough and was wondering which traffic they are watching,oncoming or cars going the other way? do they check cars which are USING 1 LANE OR DO THEY CHECK BOTH LANES????

My alloys seem to crack on inside edge......which results in weld repairs................which is annoying the tits off me!!!!!!!!!! Can this be caused by incorrect offsets/camber etc............... They are aftermarket jobbies dont know what they are.........please see rides section ...........see if you can id them........ then any suggestions would really help..... Many thanks regardz

need to de-coke my car I think cos I slouch round town in it. Best ways apart from a thrash and a run? Is thrashing the Zed okay? Auto too...have put in petrol cleaner. Hi All, Sorry to ask this, I know this question's been asked many times before but doing a search has given me such an odd array of answers... What is the maximum safe boost I can run on a Z32 with induction kit + SE chip (standard exhaust 'til I can find a reasonably cheap replacement - any offers??) I'm currently set at 1.05bar max although 1.03 is the max I've hit. Cheers RobH

Guys Has anyone taken there car to that 'Tuning Japanese' garage in Aldershot? If you haven't, think twice if your contemplating the idea! I took my Z there the other day for a rolling road session(£68 + vat) and an oil/filter change - £50 ish. When i returned the bill was getting on for £300 !!!!!! Admitedly they also fitted a new pice of pipe to the diff cooler and pumped up the tires - but they charged me about 4 hours labour for the privalage.

Where does it plug into? I just got one and I am finishing off putting my spoiler on but I dont know where I plug the spoiler brake light to. Stuart
