I'm assuming that the car has run out of coolant, but are there any tests I can run to check? I can't remember, but did the Conzult software have the ability to check the air con system? Assuming that the coolant has run out, does anyone know anywhere in north London that could put more coolant in the system (I'd rather go somewhere that had seen a Z before). Cheers, Andy

I was just leaving Windermere this evening when I saw a red Z coming the other way? Anyone here? I think it had a different front on but could be wrong as it had almost passed when I spotted it.

Has anyone or does anyone electroplate plastic and if so, how hard is it?

The heaters in my Z dont feel like they are heating up to what they should do at the given temperature. I haven't tested it with a thermometer but can anyone tell me if it is the matrix that would need changing to sort this or would the A/C need regassing(or is that just so it goes cold when you want it to)?

Well just set up my new pc's today so im back in touch with the outside world after we were burgled last week. Both my pc's our mobiles and loads of stereo equipment and cd's were stolen from my home. Luckily my zed was in the garage with my keys safely tucked away. Probably one of thge most scary things that has ever happened to me as i was in bed at the time! I know that we want to formalise the club, charge for membership etc. Has anybody thought the the Z Club of GB has been established for many years. It specialises in the older Zs and may be a bit weak on Z32s and the web site is not as active as ours, but they have great magazine, club shop,a complete committee from Archivist to Foreign club Liason Officer and Motorsport Organiser to Insurance Valuation Officer. Maybe we should talk to them about combining our strengths rather than both going alone. I am sure that this suggestion will go down like a lead balloon both with our club and theirs, but Billing may be a great opportunity to at least start a discussion.…

I've started on replacing my heater matrix and can't seem to get the heater box out. I'm a bit worried if I pull on anything too hard I'll do some permanent damage; i.e. the car won't be driveable and I'll have to get it towed to S.E. or somewhere? Anybody offer advice or assistance or should I just take it to S.E.? I wouldn't normally do something like this myself but I wanted to see if someone would make up a matrix that would be stronger than the Nissan one which seems to be naff. Grant

how much would it cost to rebuild an engine which is smokey, and what would be involved,and how much to replce turbos? reason why i ask is im going to get a zed soon dont know wether to get one cheap with a smokey motor and have it done up so its mint or wether to just get one which is good. what do you think?

im after an air filter? whaddya reckon? i fancied a blitz but the goose honk post has put me off, the apexi looks like its an oil/cotton gauze type filter (like the k+n's) and wasnt their a problem with oil being breathed into the engine by this type, coating the sensors? or is that just if the filters been over oiled? any opinions would be appreciated.

OMG!!! What a fix, Barrichello left on the jacks. Whould this have anything to do with if Schumacher wins and Barrichello doesnt come 2nd he gets the fastest F1 world championship. I think so. Well...I'm gutted....my motor will not be out of S E Nissan in time...not their fault, it's down to the t**sers that have wrecked my turbos. Anyway...it will give me the opportunity to hopefully get some shots of you guys travelling up the M1 as I live near Junction 13. Can any of you give me an idea of what time you are likely to be around Junction 12/13?? My photography is usually pretty crap...but I'm more than happy to stick any pics I do get onto CD and e-mail copies to any interested parties. Oh...it would probably help if you are not travelling TOO quickly at the time.....and let's hope that weather is good.
