hi people, i know this is dragging on a bit but i just need to know a few things before going mad at the cunt who charged me £1800 on my autobox! my car is very sluggish, kick down is crap, meaning it dont happen sometimes. ive done the diagnosic ( like vijay said ) on the box, its come up clear. ive also disconnected the kick down switch (near accl pedal ) to c if that makes any diff, cleaned the tps connection and ive serviced my TT proper..... but it still is goin like shit... basically guys is there anything else that i can do before i take it bk cos the guy is a true w***** and he dont wanna know!! would really appreciate it thanks jaz

Have got a jap tt. On the front fogs there is a little bit of clear plastic missing from the edge. Went to Nissan dealer and it wasn't on their computer. It was just a lense. Got one of these parts catalogues but can't remember how to get it to work. Anyone know if these bits come seperate or do i need to buy the entire lense.

Right. Time to buy some shocks. Can get KYB's adjustable for 370+vat or Koni's for 400+vat. Any preferance guys?

Just been going through my mailbox today on hotmail as i have been unable to access the net for a while. I had 3 or 4 mails form unknown senders which contained only what can be absolutly disgusting! Where does this sick stuff come from? My mail address is only used over the forum and very few other people have it that i know of. Anyone have any solutions as this is really annoying. The area underneath my rear spoiler has gone all shitty. You know, the piece that has Nissan written on the left side and Twin Turbo on the right hand side. My question is this: Is this actually part of the rear spoiler itself and, if so, by replacing the rear spoiler would I cure the shitty appearance of the rear of my car? I noticed the Z centre has a fibreglass spoiler that is designed as a replacement for the original and looks the same. Does anyone know if this would also replace the shitty section at the back of my car? Cheers Mike

how do i adjust the clutch cos its biting right at the bottom on the pedal and its hard to change gear is it done at the pedal or is it an under the car job simon

I'm sure there are a few people out there with Clifford Alarms, mine keeps causing false alarms for no apparent reason, and I don't want to turn it down any more. Anyone else got/had the same problem? Herman

the ecu light keeps coming on in the corsa every nearly every time the engine is at idle i think it is this black thing near the throttle body that sets the idle that has it idling to high any idears is ther any way of doing a ecu diag that any one knows please simon

Hi peeps Just had steering bushes done with Energy suspension ones. steering feels tighter, more responsive. BUT...here goes: At times my steering seems really heavy like there's no power steering...then it's okay. Have checked fluid level..it is up and had serviced about a year ago (flushed etc). Also my autobox even at low speeds clicks into sport mode..this is coincidental with the steering being heavy...so, I heard it might be speed sensor? If this is the case, where's it located and is it easy to get to and can it be cleaned or will it need replacing? If so, how much? Thanks again. Stu Leicester

Just taken the zed into main dealer to have the air con, power steering and fan belts replaced. As well as that my lock decided it was going to break so that was replaced. Total cost ~£320....mmmm, well?. What do you reckon. Trouble is there is still a 'small' squeal when its cold, is that just because the belts are new ?
