I'm sure there are a few people out there with Clifford Alarms, mine keeps causing false alarms for no apparent reason, and I don't want to turn it down any more. Anyone else got/had the same problem? Herman

Hi peeps Just had steering bushes done with Energy suspension ones. steering feels tighter, more responsive. BUT...here goes: At times my steering seems really heavy like there's no power steering...then it's okay. Have checked fluid level..it is up and had serviced about a year ago (flushed etc). Also my autobox even at low speeds clicks into sport mode..this is coincidental with the steering being heavy...so, I heard it might be speed sensor? If this is the case, where's it located and is it easy to get to and can it be cleaned or will it need replacing? If so, how much? Thanks again. Stu Leicester

Just taken the zed into main dealer to have the air con, power steering and fan belts replaced. As well as that my lock decided it was going to break so that was replaced. Total cost ~£320....mmmm, well?. What do you reckon. Trouble is there is still a 'small' squeal when its cold, is that just because the belts are new ?

It couldnt have been times much worse, today it developed a misfire. No idea which cylinder havnt really checked. All the coilpack connectors are in firmly nothing wrong there, Bob can tell you this he was there fitting the alarm. We were riding up to meet bob when it started, my dad noticed it first, but it was noticed when we went to overtake a truck, foot to the floor and it was just gutless, and then the cat warning light came on. We will change the plugs and clean the connectors out, what else could it be? Could it be something more serious? Also what type of plugs go in? Is the part number the same as the one for the US model as I ahve the numbers…

Right. Im pissed - I thought that democracy was the principle of our elected politicians doing what we request as they are our representatives in law. Well fuck me why the hell can I not buy 'YOU-HAVE-JUST-BEEN-OWNED-BY-A-RB26DETT' for £250. I am going out to find me a transport minister and feed him to the ducks. All I can get for me 250quids is g164pyt What a friggin bargain. Idiots. Ill just make me own plate up - the 5-0 will never catch me anyway because they are all fat and drive volvos. Puffs. Now I'm sure when you read this you will find this amusing and the only person that won't is me. After getting in from a shit day at the office, starving, I dive in to the kitchen, get the chicken out of the fridge, put some on a plate and put it in the microwave for a minute. I here it in the mro crackling and banging as the fat is expressing its dismay at being heated at such a rate(850W) and then I open the door, grab a peice, bring it to my mouth, open my mouth, and just as I'm about to take a bite..................BANG...........the fucker explodes in my gob. FUCK ME.....I checked to see if my tongue was still there I can tell ya'. Anyway, now I c…

Hi Guys, My technological clean sweep is continuing and I am gonna replace my old Psion 5 with a new PDA. Was thinking of a Palm, my budget would be a maximum of 150, but as always, I am open to suggestion!!! I've narrowed the Mobile down to T68i, Samsung T100 and Motorola V70 (I know it don't do much but it looks good!). I am not going to use either in synchronisation, any input/opinions would be aprreciated, if any anyone knows of cheap sources that would be good as well! All the Best, Mark

Apart from the main players on this forum and famous cars like Macca's, it's not always obvious who is who from the forum. Apart from the obvious asking, should we have another way of identifying who is who? I've lost count now of the amount of black Zs high level spoiler, so it would be nice if we could identify ourselves without making ourselves look like twats.(That includes NO NAME BADGES). What I was suggesting was maybe a small sticky label with your forum name and real name by it, on the front reg plate. You know, small enough so that its not so obvious. Or has this been tried in the past and failed?

Hello people. I'm new to the world of ZX's and would appreciate picking your brains about buying a car. I've just been to see a 1992 ZXTT auto. I took it for a test drive and noticed that there was some vibration from the rear of the car under hard acceleration. This seems wrong to me, but I could understand that 280hp being transferred from the engine to the road could cause some vibration. There was also a tappity sound from the engine at idle. Not loud, but definitely noticable with the bonnet up. The car also stalled at a junction for no apparent reason. I certainly came away with less than positive vibes. I may be being paranoid, but I would expect a …
