Yes, the day has arrived and I'm finally getting married to a GREAT GIRL. I didn't even have to sell the car, she let me off. Am I happy? What do you think!!!!!!! Life can be so good at times. ------------------

If you had bought £1,000.00 worth of Nortel stock one year ago, it would now be worth £49.00. With Enron, you would have £16.50 of the original £1,000.00. With Worldcom, you would have less than £5.00 left. If you had bought £1,000.00 worth of Stella (the beer, not the stock) one year ago, drank all the beer, then turned in the bottles for a 5p deposit, you would have £107.00. Based on the above, current investment advice is to drink heavily and recycle. ------------------ I feel the need, the need for speed!

  7. Was on the ramp at the garage for 5 hours today and the problem is still there. Cylinder 5 is down. To start with we changed the plugs, taking the old ones out was like a pick and mix! Anyway we put the new ones in. Fired her up, misfire is still there. Got out the multimeter, absolutely no power to the 12V line at the coilpack harness on Cylinder 5, 12V on all the others. Take the PTU off, clean the connectors, put it back on. The car wont start at all now! Anyway after a bit of persuation we got it started, still missing!!, we now have 3V. So we take the PTU off again, and find out the voltage to the red wire doesnt change at all even if you dic…

Drove car for most of day last week, switched off for a while and back on and only had about half turbo boost. Switched car back off and all was ok!!. Has anyone else had same probs. The car is a 1990 Jap spec with no mods. Its been serviced and looked after both in Japan and England. Someone called it Safety Boost. Why should this happen. Weather was hot and had been on motorway for a while, but its never happended before now. Would appreciate some comments. Regards Russ

I've seen several of these "strut bars" advertized on various websites and e-bay and I was wondering if anyone here has them on their car. If so has the handling increased noticiably by putting them on? Thanks SteveK

Started the car recently and only got half boost on turbo gauge and the lack of performance was noticeable. Don't drive car very often, but this day had done about 100 miles. Stopped the car whilst (saftey Boost???) was on. Car seemed ok once restarted. On Holiday now, so havent driven car since. Has anyone else experienced probs of same nature. The car is a 1990 TT Jap spec with about 70K. Been well looked after in both Jap and England and has no modifiactions at all. Can anyone shed light please..... Hopefully worrying needlesley...!!!!! Cheers Russ...

Hi, I have a slight problem with repairing my door mirrors. Scuse the post in the general forum but I am crossing my fingers that someone might be able to help me out at Billing? I bought the convertible with one door mirror all glued up. I removed the glue and the metal pivot that the housing rotates on had snapped. I bought a used door mirror from a series one, not realising that the mirrors on the series 1 and 2 were different, also not realising I had heated mirrors on the convertible! I disassembled both mirrors and realised my mistake, I know the actual mirrors are different but can the motors that turn the housing be swapped over, and yet st…

Allegedly, Paul has given up, and subsequently sold all of his stock and moulds to Bob Tilley in Texas. Tis a sad day, but Paul is a causality of his own success. He had the right stuff at the right time, but remained un-competitive price-wise, and could'ant deliver [quality] parts on time. A lesson to us all I suspect. PaulBailey.com - RIP

Does anyone know if the place is lit up at night or do we need to bring some firewood with us. Also, for you guys that went last year, are the crappers far away or are we alright to let our eyeballs float before we go to drain the main vein?

Possibly the funniest story in a long while. This is a bricklayer’s accident report, which was printed in the newsletter of the Australian equivalent of the Workers’ Compensation board. This is a true story. Had this guy died, he’d have received a Darwin Award for sure. Dear Sir, I am writing in response to your request for additional information in Block 3 of the accident report form. I put “poor planning” as the Cause of my accident. You asked for a fuller explanation and I trust the Following details will be sufficient. I am a bricklayer by trade. On the day of the accident, I was working Alone on the roof of a new six-story building. When I comple…

  24. Long story Bought my `90 Jap import 300zxTT on the 20th of June this year and enjoyed 23 days of happy motoring until the return Journey from the Max Power event on the 13th July. In weybridge, surrey, it broke down with the symptom of no power to the wheels. The engine seemed to be OK and the AA diagnosed it as a possible problem with the torque converter, burnt smell in the gearbox fluid. Wasn't to worried at this point as I thought the garage would repair the vehicle under warranty and I had peace of mind in the additional "mechanicle nreakdown cover" bought at the point of purchase. With this in mind and on advice from the garage where I purchased the vehicle…
