I BROKE DOWN......... On the A45 going towards Wellingboro' about 10 minutes from Billing...... Lots of smoke, thought Z was on fire, on grass verge, opened bonnet...... GUTTED......... Gearbox problem..........either the front seal has gone or the cooler pipes are split... Either way it was pissing onto the Zorst and smoking like you wouldn't believe. And to cap it all it took the RAC 5 (yes, 5) hours to pick me up!!! I did have some donations from people who had noticed I was waiting for so long and brought me water (cheers!! ) I spotted 7 Z's in total and only one waved and none stopped.......... Matty. -----------------…

Hello All, I was in afterhours last night with a few friends, one of whom brings in cars from Japan, He mentioned that he was looking for a new toy, and drunkenly i suggested we should buy a car between us as it would only be used occasionally. Moments later we were on the web and ended up buying a 1990 R32 GTR in black with a full HKS conversion (Turbos, intercoolers, intake,Triple plate clutch, as well as nismo injectors.) on my credit card!. the car cost 4700euro plus shipping and tax (eur 947). The things I do while drunk, well it could have been worse, we could have landed on the buy-a-wife website.....

I have started my Wedding tour. I arrived in Perth on Thursday, went downstairs to hotel reception and there was a white Z in the car park. Went out and about and that day, in the space of about 2 hours I saw 4 Z's! Any of you lot? One was a strange Goldish colour. Went to Hong Kong first. No Zeds, lots of Skylines, Evo's and Scoobies. ------------------

Just scouting about for another car and was wondering whats the best model to look out (not neccesarly for speed, but also reliability) Normal aspirated, twin turbo, auto, manual, targa tops, (not intersted in a short wheel base model) and finally UK or Import? Any advice glady appreciated... Nath

... the sun eventually came out and the day turned into a scorcher! The event was definately bigger than last year, Jap cars as far as the eye could see, well almost It was good to put faces to a few names, and I'm pleased to say that not a single fight took place in the Saturday Here are a few pics, not very good, but Warren and AndyI were also taking a lot of photos so they might appear in due course. If you had bought £1,000.00 worth of Nortel stock one year ago, it would now be worth £49.00. With Enron, you would have £16.50 of the original £1,000.00. With Worldcom, you would have less than £5.00 left. If you had bought £1,000.00 worth of Stella (the beer, not the stock) one year ago, drank all the beer, then turned in the bottles for a 5p deposit, you would have £107.00. Based on the above, current investment advice is to drink heavily and recycle. ------------------ I feel the need, the need for speed!

Was on the ramp at the garage for 5 hours today and the problem is still there. Cylinder 5 is down. To start with we changed the plugs, taking the old ones out was like a pick and mix! Anyway we put the new ones in. Fired her up, misfire is still there. Got out the multimeter, absolutely no power to the 12V line at the coilpack harness on Cylinder 5, 12V on all the others. Take the PTU off, clean the connectors, put it back on. The car wont start at all now! Anyway after a bit of persuation we got it started, still missing!!, we now have 3V. So we take the PTU off again, and find out the voltage to the red wire doesnt change at all even if you dic…

Drove car for most of day last week, switched off for a while and back on and only had about half turbo boost. Switched car back off and all was ok!!. Has anyone else had same probs. The car is a 1990 Jap spec with no mods. Its been serviced and looked after both in Japan and England. Someone called it Safety Boost. Why should this happen. Weather was hot and had been on motorway for a while, but its never happended before now. Would appreciate some comments. Regards Russ

I've seen several of these "strut bars" advertized on various websites and e-bay and I was wondering if anyone here has them on their car. If so has the handling increased noticiably by putting them on? Thanks SteveK
